Then turn saves nand emulation off.
It is turned off. My settings are
Select Nand: default ( that is what wiiflow titled the folder)
Nand emulation: partial
Select saves Nand: default (cannot change)
Saves Nand emulation: off

I am not sure if it is the Emunand that is causing the crash when I went to play the game from just the SD card using real nand I got booted to HBC.

I've just added Doom and Quake via the retroarch-wii cores. How do I change the titles from "PAK0" to "Quake"? I've made the titles.ini, but how do I figure out what the game ID is for each game? Nothing shows up when I select a cover and hit +.
I also have Super Smash Melee Remix on GC, it's a hacked version of the game. It doesn't show game info. Where do I manually add that info?

Thx

you need to get the magic # from the quake plugin ini. for example we will say its ABCDEF01
now in custom_titles.ini add the magic in brackets like this [ABCDEF01]
and on the next line add PAK0=Quake

you will need to do reload cache. it should work but i've never tried it.

as for melee remix on GC. i see its on gametdb.com with the ID of
G01E01

so you should be able to goto main settings>downloads and download wiitdb zip (or titles zip) to update it.
you may have to do reload cache if wiiflow lite doesn't auto do it.
if it still doesn't show anything then strangely the game info was never added to wiitdb.zip.

Well they have since changed Smash Remix to SDRE32, that's how I've gotten the boxcover to work. Updating the database didn't help. Would the info have to be added manually to the db?

you have 2 options:

1. search wiitdb.zip for G01E01 and then change the ID to SDRE32

or

2. use hex editor to find the id SDRE32 in your game.iso and change it to G01E01

edit i meant wiitdb.xml in wiiflow/settings

I can confirm that custom_titles.ini works. The first line has to be blank.

Option 1 doesn't work for wiidb.

Reload cache doesn't seem to do anything in WFL. You have to go in and manually delete the cached box covers. That got rid of my test images, but for some reason it doesn't like the boxcovers I created for Doom and Quake. They just show up black. Only the back of the boxes should be black. I tried png24 and png8.

Option 1 doesn't work for wiidb. You must have to do both options.

Option 1 didnt work because i forgot to tell you to delete the offsets file too.

Reload cache only recreates the lists of the games in wiiflow/cache/lists. It does not recreatere the cached cover wfc. You would need to delete the cover for that game which also deletes the wfc and the redownload the cover. This doesnt work plugin covers.

As for black cover maker sure the width and height are divisible by 4 and try interlaced pngs instead of progressive.

Thanks fledged for the help I think I got it lined out. Last question maybe
I used lite for wiiflow replacement zip, when I load Nintendo it's mastermind by abz is there a button combination that takes me back to wiiflow when I mash the buttons it just resets the GameCube game forcing me to get up and press the power button to get out, is there a way around that? And thanks this thing is running amazing!!!

if you want to replace wiiflow with wiiflow lite - you need to download and use wfl_as_wiiflow. with it you put it in apps/wiiflow and can use wiiflow forwarders just as if it were wiiflow.

Thanks for your help earlier.

Is there anything that can be done to make WiiColEm play the game based on the box you choose? No matter what box I pick it just takes me to the emulator to pick from a list of games.

AFAIK wiiColEm was never edited to run as a wf plugin. i quickly looked over the code and could not find any args (argument) support. i also couldnt find a mod by @Wiimpathy .

i believe you are supposed to use Bluemsx for colecovision as plugin.

That fixed it!

I did indeed have the roms on an SD card and in the WiiColEm roms folder, so it was something deeper than that.
I tried blueMSX also but I was still having trouble even after editing the dir.xml and gamelist.xml according to the documentation. I like WiiColEm because you hit "+" and it brings up a Coleco pad overlay, you move over to the # key you want and hit A. Not sure if theres an analog to this in blueMSX, but so far this is the best solution I have seen to emulating Atari/Coleco without having the OG controllers.

Hi, as I don't really don't like the new Wiiflow Lite splash screen I would like to know how to disable or to change change it to a custom image like it is possible for loading animations.

Thank you in advance!
