I'm arguing with my friends to tell them to quit using a version of WiiFlow that is from 2013 because it's really triggering me since it's really old. all they're tying to do is play wiimmfi which is proving to not work with WiiFlow or USB Loader GX and I'm not sure what the error code is. we're getting frustrated by this because I'm not satisfied with him trying to use an old version and the new version seem to not patch wiimmfi correctly

Hello, I've been having issues loading Wii games at all. GC games are fine. Depending on what I do, I get error 002, or Wiiflow boots back to the system menu. I've tried a couple titles, but not extensive.

So far I have tried:
  • downgrade Wiiflow to 5.5.3
  • Force cIOS version (haven't tried on 5.5.3)
  • Boot game off SD
  • Reinstall cIOS
  • Used a different USB
  • Use USB Loader GX
  • disabled the hacks I had in priiloader (480p fix, region everything)
To be clear in case someone wants to ask the simple questions, USB is in the bottom port. I used Wii backup manager for transferring games. All my games show up. I just can't play them.

To be fair, I have been getting that black screen disk read error when I was using the disk drive before modding. And things have been spotty like downloading apps from openshop channel or sending apps from my PC or using FTP. I'm thinking there's something board-level that's the issue.

Here's my syscheck. Disregard the date. I did the check today. Pretty basic IOS layout:

@RunningSnakes and others.

try this boot.dol -
https://www.mediafire.com/file/eqmictcvgeqkcc7/wfl_554_auto_cios_fix.zip/file

when 'auto' is used it now skips any cios with base 38. base 38 d2x cios will still work for spongebob boating bash on wii. probably the only game that needs it
With this version, all of the games reported to not boot at github do boot except for Animal Crossing Let's Go to the City [RUUP01], which behaves the same as reported there. It does boot with IOS forced to 248.

this sounds like good news right?

i couldn't view your syscheck it wouldn't load the page. but at least animal crossing works with whatever cios you have in slot 248.

Good news indeed. Thanks a lot for your work.

I chose 248 for Animal Crossing as per the d2x cIOS Compatibility list. Here's my sysCheck:

As for Wiiware on a 4.3E EmuNAND, most that I have installed boot fine on Auto with the version linked (hadn't tried before on any other version on this Wii & SD card). There are a few that don't, though:

• Swords & Soldiers (Europe) (WiiWare): have to force 250 for it to boot, but even if, sometimes boots, sometimes doesn’t, sometimes boots but stalls after the first three credit images, sometimes, rarely even, plays fine.
• Super Mario RPG (Europe) (SNES) (Virtual Console): doesn't boot in either Auto, 249 or 250. Not that I mind much as I can simply use an emulator.
• Sin & Punishment (Europe) (N64) (Virtual Console): have to force 250.
• Tetris Party (Europe) (WiiWare): have to force 250.

That is vs. 11 other titles that do boot fine. I can detail which ones they are if that is useful.

hello,

I m using Wiiflow 5.5.4 cheats can't be d/l for any game I ve tested, I ve also installed the contents of those codes - .txt files , from an archive called 'txtcodes.zip' from this site- into the SD:wiiflow/codes/gct/ , still the codes are not visible, even when I refreshed the cache. Do I need to convert those .txt codes to something else? Someone mentioned on Wiiflow's github site, that they used just the .txt codes. if any help thanks!
