Hacking Wiiflow and usb hdd

I wanted to redo the way i do things and not use the sd card anymore so what i did was format my drive so i have a 10gig fat32 partition for apps and set it as primary and active, then created a ntfs partition and set it as primary..i put all my games on the ntfs and all my apps on the fat32..go to homebrew channel and all my apps show up. I try and load wiiflow and after 3 seconds i get a stack dump..Any idea why? It Works perfect when wiiflow is on the sd
