macmanhigh thx for the vote of confidence bud but I'm probably the only person u mentioned that doesn't contribute a damn thing to WiiFlow other than donations every now and then and some sideline cheering for all things WiiFlow related and otherwise, really all credit should go to current and previous devs of WiiFlow, as well as themers which make the flow sweet. All I like to do is use and abuse lol, well I like to help people too, test, and report bugs when I can. I like this community, I think there's a lot of good, creative and talented people here, I just wish not everyone was so touchy :P

Wiimpathy bro that better not be your goodbye post or I will hunt u down u hear me :sad: seriously at least not on a sour note which it wasn't all that bad but still. Anyways love your contributions man, your plugins rule, and definitely hope to see more of whatever it is your doing. If it really is g'bye well then u suck :ha: and thanks for all the fish ;)

marck it sounds like your trying to change the frame around the banner am I correct? Are you using the carbonik-abz theme? It's pretty much the only one with frames that I know of. U can swap em out fairly easily. Just follow these insructions:
to use another frame for the banners edit \WiiFlow\Themes\carbonic abz.ini file, search for “user5″ and replace tv5.png with tv1.png or tv2.png or tv3.png or tv4.png

I consider donations now and then a contribute in some way or another. I've seen some of your donations and if I were a dev, I would be more then happy with them. All I'm really trying to say is don't discredit yourself so easily MR, your just as important to this team as everyone else involved and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that.

Yes you probably can, just add this to your orchid.ini.. be warned it might not display perfectly:
Code:
[GAME/USER5]
background_texture=TV1.png
color=#FFFFFFFF
effect_scale_x=1
effect_scale_y=1
effect_x=0
effect_y=0
elmstyle=
font=
font_line_height=0
font_size=0
font_weight=0
height=148
style=
width=257
x=382
y=18

Hello friendly WiiFlowians! I just wanted to drop a line to let you know something that I'm excited about... its WiiFlow!

Let me explain:
For years I've used CFG USB Loader, and its fantastic, it never gave me any issues, and did just about everything I wanted. Up until recently that is. When PostLoader became the only USB loader for Gamecube/Quadforce loading that would install the respective .wad to the MIOS on the fly, I quickly jumped on that and PostLoader became my goto place for Gamecube/Quadforce loading. Looking for a sense of organization, I went to CFG USB Loader to display only Wii games, but to my baffled surprise, there was no (built in) feature that would display only Wii games, yet you could display only GC games. It was annoying. So I started to finally look around, after years of ignoring your fine product.

When I finally decided that WiiFlow would be my USB loader strictly for Wii games (incidentally, I also have had USB Loader GX, but I only use that for WiiWare loading, and since I have a lot of WiiWare, putting the Wii games in there too would be annoying to sift through each thing, and I don't want to have to keep filtering modes when I use my USB Loaders (organization is key for me with my Wii)), I installed WiiFlow, and quickly became blown away by what this beast can do.

For starters, I LOVE the music player, the fact that you can have many songs and they play randomly and that you can change the song with the press of a button (ok 2 buttons at the same time), was awesome. Sure CFG could play a song, but I don't think it ever allowed for playlists (and random at that). Then, I was amazed at the ways themes alter WiiFlow, themes in CFG never changed things drastically, here they apparently can change the way you look at your game collection in really cool unique ways that I'd never seen before. After that, I found the option to change where pressing Home from within a game can bring me. I made it bring me back to WiiFlow, because like I said I love organization with my Wii, and well I noticed that in all the emulators when you pressed home you'd go back to the game selection screen, I always thought it'd be cool if you could do that in the USB loader for Wii games, I didn't think it was actually possible! I freaking love that. And finally its the little things too: I love that you can press a button and you'll be playing a random game, that you can make the intro channel screen for any game full screen or part of the screen and that you can flip the game case around by clicking on it, and the splash screen is fantastic, I love the glow in and out effect, and how the blue LED on the Wii disc drive brightens and dims with the glow effect. Way too cool guys!

I'm sure there were many people involved in making this thing happen, but wow, I am just so impressed and I love it all. I'm sure there are other little things I've yet to even discover yet that will continue to bring little smiles to my face.

What else can I possibly say, except, keep up the good work guys, I fucking love this thing!

Lmao "Wiiflowians" sounds to me like you just came in planet called earth
MassiveRican ill try it but you couldnt just send me the .ini :sad: *sighs* what a drag :dry:
Well my orchid.ini doesn't have that line. All u have to do is copy and paste into your orchid.ini, it's no big deal believe me ^_^

Wiiflowians had me laughin out loud for real, but I thought about it and doesn't the term WiiFlowNian sound a bit better :creep: either way it gave me a good laugh, and that post was a very much needed on topic ice breaker that just reminds me how cool WiiFlow is and why we're here; to love it and to share it, right?!

Yes you probably can, just add this to your orchid.ini.. be warned it might not display perfectly:
Code:
[GAME/USER5]
background_texture=TV1.png
color=#FFFFFFFF
effect_scale_x=1
effect_scale_y=1
effect_x=0
effect_y=0
elmstyle=
font=
font_line_height=0
font_size=0
font_weight=0
height=148
style=
width=257
x=382
y=18

Btw i fixed it the "y=18" supposed to be "y=23" took me quite a long time to fix it

I use this works in both 4:3 and 16:9 modes:
Code:
background_texture=TV5.png
color=#FFFFFFFF
effect_scale_x=1
effect_scale_y=1
effect_x=0
effect_y=0
elmstyle=
font=
font_line_height=0
font_size=0
font_weight=0
height=148
style=
width=257
x=382
y=22

If you have a sharp eye to see that y=22 if you flip your cover in any game you will see a little space so thats why Y=23 works the best

just committed r974

- Added Auto MIOS installing for GC/QF games. put your MIOS in
dev:/wiiflow/mios. name them qfsd.wad, qfusb.wad, dm.wad, and dml.wad. set
your QuadForce games GC loader to AUTO or just set the global GC Loader to auto
for all games. Bits of code taken from PL4 by stfour, thanks.
Note: if you don't want to use it then leave everything alone and don't put any
wads in the mios folder.
Note2: if you install a mios outside of wiiflow and use this feature be sure to
set current_auto_mios = 0 under [DML] in wiiflow.ini

So after 1 month of updates and bugfixes here's Wiiflow 4.2 Beta rev 974 Masterpiece Pack:

Changelog:
DFCFnjh.jpg

Updated WiiFlow to rev974 - Custom source menu for Themes, Mios & EmuNand Switch, File Explorer & Banner Download and Path Manager (Thanks Fledge68 & Fix94)
Updated Carbonik Abz Theme: Many bugfixes for texts buttons and effects, new frame, also added new buttons for rev 968+, the new theme is now based on official carbonik r7 (Thanks Benjay, Mamule and Ayatus for the great update)
Updated Carbonik Abz theme for the new "File Explorer" page (Thanks Fledge68 for the new stuff)
Updated Wii2600 to autoboot edition (previous dol is renamed to .old in case needed - Thanks Wiimpathy)

For the new mios switch feature 4 wads are needed (dm,wad dml.wad qfsd.wad and qfusb.wad)
The latest versions of DM(L) and QF have been already renamed and placed in \Wiiflow\mios folder
Just remember to set "GC Loader" in Global settings page 3 to "Auto" for this to work
P.S. In case you are using Triforce plugin for QF games you need to have QF as mios since the mios switch feature is not working for this plugin yet
Also it seems some users are having errors launching Wii or WW games with some themes, for now all I can recommend is to have wiiflow dol (in apps folder) on SD, try a different theme or just the default theme. The devs are trying hard to find what is causing this weird bug and hopefully this will be fixed before 4.2 Final is out.

You can download the 7z file after 1 hour or so
All details found here: http://www.wf-masterpiece.tk/

Please report any bugs or requests for a bug free 4.2 Final pack later
Have a nice day :)

Is there also a catecories_v4.ini with all regions included?

Just the English speaking NTSC and PAL ones. I massage the non-US ratings into ESRB as the UK and others aren't an exact match.

I wrote an app to extract the required pieces from the GameTDB XML about a year ago before they compressed the format. If there is any interest and I have some free time I might dust it off and work on extractions for other regions and then put it in the new compressed format.
