then I had to delete all my sub directories in my roms folder because apparently WiiFlow snes9xgx doesn't like subfolders. the games show up but if you try to play one it just returns to system menu.

Does this sound right Fix94?
Yep, that sounds right, currently the emulator doesnt check subfolders.

Oh and @[member='secamfr']:
It should be there 100%, if I go ingame to exit I have that as select possibility. BTW with the banner sounds see r248, you can now decide which one you want to have :)

Sorry Fix94 but I don't see a return to WiiFlow on genplus exit option either just - credits and exit to system menu.

Fix94 - I am having some problems with r246. r245 works fine with no dumps but r246 crashes every time I try and rebuild the cache as well as it looks like it is recreating the lists at startup since it takes over a minute to startup. r245 doesn't show the problem.
See r247 please, I now added cache finally ;)
Thanks. It is no longer taking so long to startup, the boot time is normal now. And it is no longer crashing when I manually rebuild the cache (B on options). But after a cache rebuild (automatic when it starts up or manual) the first game you run code dumps. I checked and the same problem existed in r245. I will keep using r247 for now since it offers more but if you could look at the crashing after a cache rebuild that would be terrific. Thanks!

I have updated my categories app to parse out the ratings for the ESRB, CERO, PEGI and GRB rating systems. I assigned ratings as close as possible given that ESRB has 6 classes, CERO and PEGI have 5 and GRB has only 4.

In the zip file are 4 categories.ini files corresponding to the different rating systems.

http://www.mediafire.com/?6nyjri5aj76gagv

Just replace your USB:\wiiflow\settings\categories.ini file with the appropriate one for your country and you will be all set.

For example in the US rename the ESRBcategories.ini to categories.ini and copy it to the settings folder replacing the previous one.

Please let me know if you have any questions or problems :)

Nice work.
I haven't actually tried these out but just looking over them there might be one little problem: Off the top of my head I thought the limit was 20 categories including the ALL category (19+all). I noticed that in the ESRB file it lists 20 category names and in the [GAMES] section it says numcategories=21.
Do all the categories actually show on screen when you install it into WiiFlow?

Hey Fix,
Thanks very much for Adding Cache option Super fast now with 3000 Roms (Emulator Status = Enabled Now)

However still no luck with all mods except mod1 all newer mods can't run games, however Genesis mod2 works fine and goes back to wiiflow on exit

I noticed that sega master system roms are not running and that settings is not saved

PS: I run Master system roms via genplus gx v1.5 with no problems whatsoever - it seems that v1.6.1 is the cause

Edit: imo Emulator mode should have a shortcut instead of Homebrew (pressing right on modes btn) & make a separate BTN for homebrew
when will you consider fixing the coverflow editing bug for homebrew and emulator modes?
Checking my carbonik.ini with tweaked homebrew view you'll notice that homebrew view worked only when the mode is named [BREWFLOW_1] not [BrewFlow] are you planning to add more flow modes to Homebrew [BREWFLOW_2], 3, 4... etc?

@FIX94 - Its like u read my mind Budd been wanting sumthing like this FOREVER!!!!!
Everything working good so far gonna test it all out Awesome Mega Ultra Sweetness Achieved :yay:

Also im hoping cheats still work???

i know emulators are cool (i guess). i just turned all of my emulator games in to wads. an loaded the hell out of my neek2o nands.
now to the point of wiiflow.. SWEET love the feel, an it's more stable then ever before. thanks for all your hard work fix94. wiiflow is my second choice, still sticking with gx, just because it's way easier to make themes.(using theme creator). tried to make a couple for the old wiiflow. an they always came out like crap.. so wondering if(you could make) the themes be used in theme creator. that would be nice, that way it can be customed a lot easier for the noob user.

All 20 show now, they special cased out the 'All' option which was consuming one of the slots. I found the numcategories needs to be set to 1 more than the actual number of categories you want displayed. It looks really cool now with all the GameTDB categories along with the ratings :)

I got covers for Emu's in "WiiFlow/Covers" & they r named to match Roms but they dont show up in WiiFlow

Don't forget to include the rom extension in the .png filename! (Ex - Legend of Zelda, The.nes). It's a very easy task with a tool such as Bulk rename utility or something similar... took me only a few minutes to convert all of my sets.
