how 'bout that FreeAgent support, eh?

dude your constant hounding about FreeAgent support will only make the new devs ignore you the more you go on about it, youve been pestering for about 3-4 pages ive read now and it getting quite annoying, either get a different HDD, code it yourself as you think its so easy or just wait

according to Wiinero, its a simple fix (to those who know how to code).

it's open source, type the fix in yourself.

unfortunately I'm not a committer, and I wouldn't be able to distribute this so that the many others with the same problem as me could enjoy the fix.

lol, so your saying you have no coding skills and just need to wait til its implemented because you don't need to be a commiter to post a fix at all

EDIT

Not really any good this sort of coding, ill just leave it to the devs lol

Narolez ALREADY implemented it...the recent devs, for some reason, left it out.

so your saying Narolez done a fix but never committed it to the SVN or its in the SVN but the new devs left it out of the R27 .dol download?

this is getting confusing

Quite a few people have had problems with Wiiflow waking up their hard drive, especially if they had Seagate Freeagents. Narolez seemed to fix this problem using this: http://www.multiupload.com/EHO3TMJT91

If whoever is working on wiiflow now could implement whatever code is added to that version to wake up the HD's, that'd be awesome.

Here is the Wiiflow google code page with the reported issues if it helps http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow/issues/detail?id=58

Thanks

you didnt get the point of the post

the fix was only in that one dol, know where else and not at the SVN either, so the devs will need to get and re-add it to the SVN from Narolez or re-write it them selves and commit the update

There is a R28 on google code. You guys should test it if this is working.

-fixed bug in cheat menu (if received cheat file was to small it showed Cheat
not found)
-added Translations for CheatMenu looks in language.ini like this:
cheat1=Back
cheat2=Apply
cheat3=Cheat file for game not found.
cheat4=Download not found.
cheat5=Select

-Possible fix for "sleeping" drives
-searches config, themes and so on in drive:/wiiflow, if not found in
drive:/apps/wiiflow

I've tested r28 and no more problem when downloading cheats.

That is a great idea.

Nice job and keep up the good work!

[Edit] I found a little bug. When a cheat name/description is too long it will be on the same line as the next one, because there is not enough room to show it completely. Happened to me with Animal Crossing: City Folk.

[Edit2] Still having problems downloading cheats. It seems to be random and I get "Download not found".

Coo, r28 boots up my Freeagent! Thanks a lot fellas. I did notice though a few of the buttons in the settings were overlapped, so was the text, so I couldnt read them.

Did you use a theme? If yes, they are not updated for the new changes. You shouldn't have a problem with the default one.

I'm using default theme. Had to double check though. Turns out the global settings are fine, it's when I choose the settings of any specific game this happens.

if you just copied them you probably need to change the theme path and so on in the wiiflow.ini (since these are the default settings that are set when you start WiiFlow the first time and wiiflow.ini doesnt´t exist) so either you just delete the wiiflow.ini or change the paths manually.

edit: I deleted my wiiflow.ini and now covers don't show. I'll try fixin' them up.

Yeah that should be like that.
Actually it works like this if wiiflow.ini is found in drive:/wiiflow/ it will work like usual if it doesn´t exist it tries to find it in drive:/apps/wiiflow/ and loads the wiiflow.ini from there (if it exist), if it doesn´t exist it will create a wiiflow.ini in drive:/apps/wiiflow/ with standard settings and the paths in the wiiflow.ini will be like drive:/apps/wiiflow/themes/ and so on.

This was mainly that users with the usual "old" paths don´t need to change anything and new users get automatically the "new" path so for example if you delete the wiiflow.ini in drive:/wiiflow/ you will need to copy the language file, theme directories and so on to drive:/apps/wiiflow/.

Hope i explained that good enough

In other thread you said you manage to boot in full colors, NMH2 in pal mode.
I have a old tv anc cant boot it on color...

Autopatch == Black Screen
Video Patch = ALL/MORE -> B/W video output

Can you show me your wiiflow.ini entry for this game?

Thanks
