Hey everyone, finally its time again for a release here! :)
Now we do move up to 4.2 because of all the big additions to wiiflow!
The main new features are
-a FTP Server
-a File Explorer
-a Language Downloader
-a Path Selector for both wiiflow paths and Emulated NAND paths
-a custom banner downloader
-a WAD Installer for Emu NAND Channels
-an automated MIOS installer for different GC games
-a new Source Menu feature to select multiple coverflows to display at the same time
I hope that includes most of the important changes.
You can find the FTP Server and File Explorer in the Home Menu of WiiFlow
The WAD Installer is used via the File Explorer, you can also uninstall Channels now from your Emu NAND using the same way as for every other game
The Language Downloader is located in the general settings as well as the Path Selectors
The custom banner downloader are in the per-game settings, mainly downloading GC banners
To use the automated MIOS installation just use the new "mios" folder in your wiiflow main folder, copy in dm.wad for diosmios, dml.wad for diosmios lite, qfusb.wad for quadforce usb, qfsd.wad for quadforce sd and mios.wad for the regular mios, the wads you need to copy in depend on your personal usage
To use the new Source Menu features just go into the startup settings and enable Multisource, you can use the + button to select more than one source then.
WiiFlow now also has full compatibility to UStealth, a tool to hide your HDD from the WiiU question if you want to format it, check out gbatemp.net/threads/352786 for more details about that tool.
now this is just the list of big things, yet again they are alot of smaller additions and as always bugfixes, cleanups and speedups.
To find out more about the new release you can join the irc channel #wiiflow on irc.abjects.net or just go to the gbatemp.net wiiflow thread and just ask what you want to ask.
Thanks to everyone still supporting the project, especially to fledge68, Ayatus, mamule and all the beta testers and contributors behind the scenes!
Have Fun!

Download is as always over on google code.

Dios Mios can be used with Wii U now? Sorry, didn't know for sure. If DM cant be used with Wii U, what wad(s) or files would I need for Devolution through Wiiflow and where can I get them?

Grab Devo here, forget the fact that it says r159, the link always leads to the latest revision of Devo and grab the source as well which has the loader.bin file. Place loader.bin in your root WiiFlow folder and place the gc_devo folder in /apps. Follow the instructions in the readme for verification instructions as well as how to use it for Wii U. As long as u have IOS58 installed your all set to install and use Devo.

SOURCEFLOW!

http://www.mediafire.com/download/6klhpaorvfer9vm/wf_4.2_sourceflow.rar

Here it is a test boot.dol of sourceflow. a diff file is included along with a README that you must read first to set up sourceflow.

Here's the readme.

in your source_menu.ini add title= to each button. the title can be whatever you want - examples: wii, genesis, summvm, movies, SNES.

the title is used for alpha sorting and the cover titles of course.

there will be a new section in wiiflow.ini called [SOURCEFLOW]

[SOURCEFLOW]
current_item=Wii.png
dump_list=no
enabled=yes
last_cf_mode=5
smallbox=yes
sort=0

sourceflow is disabled by default. enable it by setting enabled=yes. the old source menu is still there and can be used when sourceflow isn't enabled.

sourceflow uses brewflow. the covers can be smallbox(default) or normal. and it uses the normal source menu images (image=).

for full covers make a folder named full_covers in your source menu folder and put in your box covers named to match image= for each button.

currently there is no multisource, favorites, and categories for sourceflow. But alpha sorting is and you can use B-UP/DOWN to move from letter to letter and some goes for B on next/prev btns. If you find any problems let me know and I'll see what I can do. if it's ok i'll commit it.

P.S. Uploading sourceflow_beta.7z contains the new source_menu folder - 'll post the link shortly.
For the dol you have to wait for fledge68 to commit or to post it himself

Wow, I see these are full covers and not just front covers. How do you make the distinction?

(I need to get busy and release an updated source menu editor before all these changes leave me in the dust.)

Yes, Yes!! Motivation for sourceflow/menu editor oh yea!

Maxternal, I love your work, daddio. If it's possible to have an editable order in addition to sorting, that would be absolutely amazeballs. Nevermind updating your editor too!
p.s. If you could crack this, a universal coverflow editor is even closer! (we can but dream...)
Reality check: I still haven't loaded fledge's dol up, i'm just looking at the artwork folders and giggling to myself - savour the moment...

I used Abz's art and ini. I ran the dol once before editing the generated sourceflow entry.
I have only used the small box set, but I have moved (quickly!) between sources and the sourceflow and I can happily say

It Works :D

At least in my setup - everything on a fat32 USB. Noted that the reproduction of the covers is fine on one of the coverflows - I think the one with the least number of covers - but the following coverflow (with 4 more covers) and in all the others, the covers look very heavily compressed, so much so that the covers are illegible. Also, on the coverflow with the largest number of covers, the title of the cover under the pointer is over does not appear.

I've been up with an active 11 month old since 6 am - and I'm up again at 7 for a day's work. so I'm really sorry but that's all the info I've managed to attain. If someone could point me to a guide on testing, I'd love to give it some more when I have some free time.
Going to bed smiling :)
Thanks all. manhugs all round. except you, toddofwar (kidding).

perhaps not ideal but editing the sort order should be as simple as numbering the names you give them in the title= line.
1. NES
2. SNES
3. N64
4. ETC.
