@ fledge68

had a few things to report about your theme packs. with the last few updates, when i go to homebrew flow all the covers are smushed... like theyre being forced into small box mode.. it wasnt always like this, not sure when this started. i figure its something on my end but i dont know what(OH and also, im using FULL covers for my homebrew apps btw.. maybe that has something to do with it). another thing i noticed is that sometimes when youre in the source menu it thinks that the + or - box on the screen is highlighted.. so when u hit the A button to select an emulator it just goes to the next page instead of opening that emulator. its a very small issue and its like impossible to reproduce. ive only seen it happen 2-3 times... at first i thought one of my buttons was stuck on the wiimote, but they werent. hardly an issue at all but i figured it was worth mentioning. lastly, in the latest carbonik the flow change button like pops up before the other main buttons instead of all sliding onto the screen at the same time... looks kinda weird. dunno if its supposed to do that or what.

@ Jiiwah or fledge68

in the starnight theme, the banner window is covered by the game options panel... which sux. it also needs to have the help and about buttons updated, as well as mastershoes emuflows added. also when u click on things it makes that static KSHHHHHH noise....which i know fledge fixed in the other themes a while back..im not sure who updates this theme anymore...

edit: about the smushed homebrew covers... i guess its cause there arent any full cover homebrew flows in the other themes .ini files???

party.

sorry I use small box for homebrew mode. I should probably change that. For now you could open the theme.ini and copy coverflows 1-8 and paste them over the brewflows and rename them brewflows.

sometimes when youre in the source menu it thinks that the + or - box on the screen is highlighted.. so when u hit the A button to select an emulator it just goes to the next page instead of opening that emulator.
I've never experienced that. are you using an gamecube controller? with wiimotes d-pad you can press up or down to cycle thru the buttons. maybe you accidentally hit the d-pad. strange.

in the latest carbonik the flow change button like pops up before the other main buttons instead of all sliding onto the screen at the same time... looks kinda weird. dunno if its supposed to do that or what.
darn it, another one of those things i forgot to set back to normal before posting. I was trying something new with the carbonik theme and missed that when i set things back to normal. Looks like i really need to fix a few issues and do a repost again.

In the latest release by Jiiwah the game options don't cover the banner window so you might have an old version. Jiiwah is the updater for his starnight theme and yes he needs to fix the help button and maybe a few other things. I hear he's been gone for a while so when he gets back I'm sure he'll fix it.

Hope this helps

no gamecube controller. always using the wiimote when experiencing this issue.
and like i said, its VERY infrequent... hard to reproduce, but it does exist.

and thanks for your reply :)

I think that the WiiFlow has been alot more snappy. The increase in speed is noticeable to me.
Also I like the B button for source_menu. Good idea there.
Everything seems to be working ok so far. I spent the evening with the mplayer and watched 3 movies in a row and everytime the movie ended it returned to the WiiFlow with no problem.
I just compiled r670 and it does seem to load up quicker.
earlier today I installed d2x v8 final wads to my wiiflow nand and now when I use the exit to neek2o option i get a really strange code dump..I've never saw on like this before...
See the spoiler

But I'm in the same boat. As long as I Exit to Bootmii, it takes me to the uNeek nand anyway.

just in case someone wants it: here is my orchid theme mod http://filetrip.net/dl?0l2MqXumeF

i made my own gamecube button, emulator button, homebrew button and i moved most of the boxes around to make them visible/lined up. i've shared it before, but now the game options are moved to allow for the banner display.

Is there a way to hide a channel on Emunand mode?
I want to hide PL, WF and neek2o channel and just enjoy the WW/VC.
:)
the only way i know how at this point, cause the delete button doesn't work.( the last time i tried.). open the nand with showmii wads, an delete them from the nand.

Last night I tested out the new B-to-source thing on r668 and it works great. I tried everything I could think of to break it and it still works like expected. I don't foresee it causing any problems with anyone either (of course if I'm wrong, feel free to voice your concerns)

I kinda forgot to test my help files I posted to make sure they actually show up but I don't see why they wouldn't. I put them in the folder but just didn't click the help button.
(along those lines, I noticed that now that the "help" and "about" buttons have been separated the (?) button in coverflow now goes to the "about" section and I was just thinking that the "help" section would be more useful there.)

With the way that the source menu command is now implimented, it might be best to remove other ways of getting to it (B on home, I think there's another one) As you can point anywhere and press B and bring up source.Might save a bit of space. Just a thought. Or maybe it's already been done. I dunno.

Tiny feature request (don't know if it's there already):

- Ability to select the startup mode, I want to start automatically the Emunand mode when I run WF in neek2o mode.
really useful since Wii games mode is useless in neek2o.
you know something like: NeekStartMode_Nand = yes in the ini

or just make WF remember the last mode used in both real and neek mode

Edit: Also "return to channel" option is the same for both real and emunand mode. Should be separate for each,
this way we exit to WF in real mode and to "neek2o channel" in emumode to go back to real nand (one step closer to going back to WF on real nand)

Edit2: Anyone having problems with Exit to SM,HBC,Priiloader and BootMii? only neek2o/realNand work here!!
P.S. rev671

Hi Fix. r671 looks very nice. Was wondering about the addition of skip_list_check and how it was different from extended_list_check=no which I have had set for a long time now.

Funny I was just a bit late in posting the same thing. skip_list_check is self explanatory, plus you give a clear definition in the changelog, but I've always used extended_list_check=no although never really understood what it was for, I just noticed it was a bit quicker to boot wiiflow with it set to "no" than "yes". Mind giving a quick breakdown?

Ok I found fix's post explaining what extended_list_check does if enabled but that sounds a lot like skip_list_check=no.. so what's the main difference?

Extended list check does nothing else than scanning each subfolder folder for a difference, the normal list check just checks the main wbfs folder (that check mostly says something is modified if you have a ntfs partition due a bug in the lib) and with skip list check it'll do no checks at all and just load the cache.

I'm still running into an issue that I am really hoping someone else can look into as it isn't resolved nor has been since any versions I have checked (running r670 now.)

I can't get devolution games to boot with strictly the loader.bin on the usb drive. The only time it works is when I insert an SD card. Can you guys test Devolution with NO SD card in the unit, please make sure it is set to Devolution and not DIOS MIOS. my loader.bin is in usb1:/apps/gc_devo (where configusb requires it) usb1:/wiiflow and usb1:/apps/wiiflow

I will input data from my current wiiflow.ini and tell you the loader.bin works fine with configUSB and configurable usb loader (latest respective builds as of this date.)

@[member='thevoiceover'], sorry bud I don't use devo, everything I own works perfect with DM.. if I owned any audio streaming games than yea I would use it, that or if I still had my copy of PSO Episode I&II plus. Sadly I never kept my copy cuz I'm an idiot.

@[member='fix94'] nice touch with r666 finally got around to seeing it in action, nice and eerie lol. I don't know if this is a bug or not but does anyone else have issues with DUTag not updating. I noticed it for a while now and I'm certain I have it set up correctly since it used to work for me many many revisions ago. I'm not sure if DUTag itself having issues but is there anything I can do to help troubleshoot the issue? Would providing a wifi or SD log help at all?

I was going to try devolution and let you know about the SD card issue (even updated the devolution dol and the loader.bin) but Gamecube games seem to be broken for me. Devolution nor Dios-Mios seem to be working through the WiiFlow, however, Devolution from the HB channel works as works fine as does FIX94's Dios-Mios booter.... Hmmmmm... now that I look at it, the WiiFlow GC options settings is only 2 pages long now... NMM, No disc patch are not there anymore.. I guess that I didn't notice it. Also now when I Exit to Neek2o, I get the flashing blue light and no code dump. I had to try it. Running r672 compiled with the built in terminal in Coda 2.
I've been playing PSO I&II and Beyond Good & Evil today with Dios-MIOS and self-compiled r672, so I know for sure that GC launching is not broken. If you've added any GC games to your USB make sure while in GC view to manually reload cache. Other than that all I can say is try to re-compile your dol and re-launch your games.
