UPDATE: I figured out that instead of trying to merge 3 button parts into one image, it's easier to just use the right --> button part as the entire image, with the left and center blank, and resize the button width and height to the right ratio. Now the problem I'm having is that the x and y values on the Select Source menu do NOTHING. I tried to move a button but it stayed in the same place. Not sure about the plugin menu, haven't tried it yet. (I think the plugin menu should be merged with the Select Source menu, having a button to bring it up.)
make

thats your problem there, you cant make shortcuts and miss important elements from the buttons, more than likely the XY co-ords are based on the position of the left segment, if its not present no change will occur.

If youve managed to figure it out then i'll leave you to it but if you need help just ask

Just remove his themes, retaliation on a friend behalf more than likely as the themes had been abandoned for quite a long time and it seems the band wagon has been boarded
Noooo. The other button parts are still there, they're just invisible. And I tried moving the buttons left, right, up, down, by a great amount, and nothing happened. I think the reason for that is that the positions are hard coded, because the button coordinates aren't auto generated in the default.ini. I would still appreciate help on this, as I don't always have the time to dedicate to it.

yea that would be nice but I doubt Fix94 would want all those png's added to wiiflow and increase the size dramatically. If it doesn't bother him then more power to anyone who knows coding and wants to make this work.

I'm not talking about adding them to wiiflow directly, they're just custom buttons that go in your theme folders.

Sorry to ask again, but what needs to be done to WiiMC inorder for us to get a movie coverflow happening?
I dont know if wiimc supports arguments, if it does then nothing, just a small modification on wiiflow to use these arguments then ;)
Tried testing out WiiMC:
Added to plugins folder:
wiimc.dol
wiimc.ini
wiimc.ogg
Added to wiimc.ini:
Code:
[PLUGIN]
magic=57493635
coverColor=FFFFFF
coverFolder=wiimc
fileTypes=.avi|.divx|.xvid|.mp4
romDir=wiimc/videos
dolFile=wiimc.dol
bannerSound=wiimc.ogg
displayname=WiiMC
ReturnLoader=yes
Put an avi file in /wiimc/videos.
Selected plugin from menu.
Box cover is shown (same dimentions as my N64 box (how do I make different box types?))
Click on it> It loads to wiimc with this error:
ERROR
Could not find a valid SD or USB device - one is required for normal operation.
Clicking OK exits back to system menu.
I have no idea what I'm doing from here, so please could someone help me out?
I added 1 to the wii64 magic number to get : magic=57493635 (as i'm sure i read to do so before) but if i deselect wii64 it also deselects wiimc...., I also dont know how to add arguments to wiimc itself.
EDIT:
That will teach me for playing around, my emulators screen has gone empty again, nothing showing at all :(
EDIT2:
Oddly deleting categories.ini fixed the problem. :)
I'm pretty sure WiiMC does accept some sort of arguments since WiiXplorer has an option to use it to open media files.
I don't think it takes them in the same order as WiiFlow's plugins do, though.

Modifying the actual WiiMC code and making it into a plugins seems a shame since it's still updated fairly frequently.
Modifying WiiFlow specifically for it is an option but I was thinking about something that may be a bit more universal.
a simple DOL could be put together that would take WiiFlow's arguments and put them in the order that WiiMC wants and then call the already installed WiiMC app.
This could then be used as a stencil for anyone who want to add an existing app to WiiFlow by just changing the argument forwarder DOL, and dropping the new file in the plugins folder. something like what ModMii does to make forwarders.
you can try file i have? it's what i use to theme wiimc.( besides the reguler blue,green an red). it's sort of plug in. i just don't know were to get the source for it.( badboy26,is the author). got it from here.
http://forum.wii-homebrew.com/ my this could be made to use with wiiflow.?? i would try but no coding skills.( pm required, for reasons, can't post my download link cause of no source,to the file. it went the way of the doe doe..)

Just checked out wiimc source and its easy to do wiimc, the way is very silimar to the way we use for the emulators atm.

Testing 405: Thanks Fledge :)

Is it working for you? - I can't seem to start any games just black screens - sometimes get lucky.
It is working so far for wii games at least, didn't test the others yet. tested Pikmin, POP, Gravity with no problems
@Fix is the black screen on exit related to the hidden booter channel?

Just that you guys know I havent stopped working on new emulators, here is a new one, wiimednafen mod1 :P
http://dl.dropbox.co...ednafen-mod1.7z
This emulator supports very much roms, just check their wiibrew site out ;) I only added a few rom types to the sample ini, you can add more of course, have fun :D
Great! I test it tonight and report here the result.
Maybe you could add WiiColem easily now because it's from the same author ?

How can I make it load roms from several folders? as you know we have different folders for each emulator.
Easy, just create a few ini files with different magic words and different folders, but same dol file ;)
folders, name mixed
wiimednafen.ini, displayname=mixed

Pfff sure wiixplorer got a feature for booting wiimc but wiimc got no args parser... I eventually check out mplayerce then for argument support, that would eventually be moddable since its not updated anymore...

Here's another version of my GameTDB to custom_titles.ini file downloader program.
I noticed a little bug where it was reading and writing the files as ANSI and not UTF-8 which only caused problems for some extra characters outside of 0-9 and A-Z
(For example, since Okami has an accent line above the O it just shows up as kami)
I think as long as the extra character is in the font that WiiFlow is using it will show up now.

http://www.mediafire.com/?afcuy9ueurva1cd (source code included, too)

For those who didn't already know what this is, you run it, select your language and hit download and it will create a "custom_titles.ini" file for you to put in your /wiiflow/settings folder based off of GameTDB.com
If you already had some custom titles or custom cover colors set up you can "import" your old file before downloading and it will keep those settings.
You can even use it to merge several existing "custom_titles.ini" files from previous installations by importing them one after another before hitting the download button.

You do have to have java installed for it to work but it can run on anything that's running standard java (Mac, Windows, Linux, etc.)
There are command line options, too, if you want to use them. Use -help, /?, -? or help command line options for details.

Wow that Midnafen thing is running the MS roms with no problems. And goes back to wiiflow as smooth as silk.
Thanks :)
@Fledge how can I remove "Wii Games", "GC Games" "Wiiware" and "Homebrew" buttons from the filter (the one you press + on mode), I don't need them since we have shortcuts, this way I can see all emu-plugins on same page.
@Fix I figured out that plugins scan subfolders, this way I can still have different rom subfolders and use wiimednafen on the parent folder :)

the problem is after play, press home to return to the Wii menu, black screen

I'm not really interested in compiling mplayerce lol, I got args booting to work, but without returning to wiiflow, may I find a solution without recompiling :P
