How do you get rev416 to recognize two wfbs partitions , i went to settings and it doesn't see the other partition ,, my setup works fine with usb loader gx ,, so i must not be setting it up properly ,, any help will be appreciated .. thanks
You can also simply press b and minus to switch the partition, I'm sure it will be detected.

If you have tried the suggestion from FIX94 without success, I am afraid that Wiiflow does not support 2 WBFS partitions anymore...TBH i really don't know if the code changed for it...i hope Miigotu can shed some light on this...(or somebody else that has got 2 WBFS partitions working).

I can make a suggestion though, change the partition(s) to FAT32 or NTFS, Wiiflow has good support for those file systems..

I have been playing with the new r417 and I am having a problem. After clearing the lists/cache file (and all settings and wiiflow.ini) the wiiflow.ini defaults to save_emulation=yes and apps crash on starting. The biggest problem though is it isn't recreating the lists/cache file and it takes forever to start Wiiflow or run exit back from games to the Wiiflow menu. It looks like the list is created in memory but not written to disk.

Heading back to r415 until this is fixed :-(

I updated to r417 today and everything seems to work just fine.
I was just wondering what happened to the themes on the WiiFloWiki, especially the Orchid theme.
Not compatible with r417 ?

So you don't experience any of the problems that BostonBC has with r417?

Hello and welcome!

I have been using wiiflow for a little while and I have found that a handful of my back-ups have some video issues. I have been able to correct most of the issues by manipulating "Patch Video Modes" and "Video Modes" in the game settings. For the ones I haven't been able to resolve, such as Ultimate Alliance 2, is there something else I can try? I'm pretty sure the green horizontal lines aren't actually part of the intro...

I have done quite a bit of reading across a number of forums, but I think I'm just reading myself in circles at this point. For example, I can't even find a place to get the latest wiiflow installation so I can try starting from scratch. *sigh*

I think if you don't erase the settings files and cache/lists like I do between each release it will probably work. A couple of friends upgraded from a slightly older version w/o a problem... I just know if I start telling people I know this is a good release somebody will delete one of the files and expect it will be auto-recreated and then when it chokes they will yell at me :-(

For me r417 works pretty good and yes I deleted all my settings/cache/ini, no problems at all with it. And yeah, the files will be recreated just fine here, that's really strange that it doesn't for you...

Nope, everything works just fine for me, regular games and Virtual Console/WiiWare as well.
I updated to all the latest d2x v7 cIOS from the Wiki, deleted everything in USB:\Wiiflow and the old config in USB:\apps\Wiiflow before I launched r417 the first time.

went back to newly created r414, on a NTFS drive.
The issue I am having is that new games don't appear. The only way to make them show is deleting the list file.
I am a little confused why this is happening now, as it did not do that before.
Any thoughts?

How do you add new games? If you use Wii Backup Manager try to update to the latest version of that program. AFAIK there was a bug in that program that caused Wiiflow to not realize that a new game had been added.

...you can also get around it by forcing a refresh of the titles whenever you add a game (assuming your wii is on wi-fi)....options -> download titles & covers (page one of global options) -> update WiiTDB. ...but yes, miiguto has said the problem was with WBM, but has since been fixed in the latest version....

EDIT: my first post apparently since the website overhaul...what'd they do with my damn avatar??

Just tried r417. Seems to work perfectly fine. I had deleted all settings/.ini, etc. No problems with caching or long load times.

petspeed, I am actually using the latest version of wiibackupmanager and I also tried going back using an older version.

just thought of something. Could it be that I have the title.ini in there and it is not updating?

I will try alpha r417 and see if that has resolved this issue

Obviously if you have titles.ini you did not follow the directions of creating a clean install when updating.

Can anyone else confirm issues (Exception DSI occurred) with uDraw in recent releases? It used to work fine on releases a few months back.
PAL uDraw on PAL 4.2E r417 v7b1d cIOS.
Funny thing is if I select the game in WiiFlow it immediately gets the DSI error, but if I use another controller (not plugged into uDraw tablet) it zooms the cover in, then when I start it it reboots the Wii without the DSI error.
I know it's a crap/rarely used game for some, but my daughter loves it and she's hounding me about it not working now. That's 2.5 year olds for you.
Usual clean installs (all configs/ini/db wiped) were done and pretty much everything else works fine. This is a new issue as it used to work back in older revisions (maybe it was 402, at a guess).
I can provide a pic of the DSI dump if required.
Many thanks.
