Hi there, I am a newbie to the world of wii homebrew. I am trying to install wiiflow with no luck. I keep getting the ret = -2011 error message when I use MMM to install the WADs. Here are all the WADs that I tried to install:

WiiFlow-WFBJ(honey).wad
Wiiflow_StarNight_Channel_Forwarder-WSNF.wad
WiiMC - GSMC.wad
WiiFlow Static Channel IOS249-WFHW.wad

I am running soft modded wii 4.2u. Your help is greatly appreciated

I'm afraid installing full channels has nothing to do with wiiflow, since we don't support full wiiflow channels. We only support the forwarders, and even then only some of us do.

Anyway, I think error -2011 is a problem where the ios you are using to install wads isn't based on ios 38.
error-2011 means that MMM is using an ios which is not trucha signed. Try installing the wad with ios 249 or 36/236 (or any other trucha signed ios)

I see, so, should I run boot.dol from cIOS249_rev17_Installer w/ HBC before running MMM?
That is a possiblity, if you dont have cIOS 249 installed yet. The cIOS'es are normally truchasigned by default, but if you install 249 i reccomment rev19, or if you want to use it for triiforce then 17 is fine. But it should work as long as the ©IOS is truchasigned.

Hmm, I run cIOSX rev 17 installer from HBC, and got an error "Mounting device, please wait... ERROR! (ret = -3)"
Would that be the problem of having IOS 58 installed? I installed IOS 58 when I installed the wiimc 1.4 channel forwarder. My HBC is running IOS 61 V21.29. I am totally lost... Please help.

No, IOS-es cannot interfere with each other. You will just have to install cios 249 with base 38 (!) or you cannot install channels. You can also use Hermes rev 222 base 38 to install channels.

Just a quick question, is there an easier way to make WiiFlow themes, Ive been making a couple and its just annoying to create them using notepad, is there some sort of program where i can just use all the images i made in photoshop and i can just arrange them how i want and save?

I have a question: is it possible to use other cIOS slots than 222,223,224,249 or 250? Kinda like CFG that supports 248 and 247. I can't configure my games to use them, but I have to admit I haven't got anything installed to those slots yet.
(edit: using r228-222.dol)

@x_r3ap3r_x: I kinda doubt it. PC proggies to help configure wiiflow are listed here...but I see nothing for easier theme editing.

One of the contibutors of Wiiflow was planning to make a PC app that can do that, but he is very busy at the moment so i dont know when it will be available.
At the moment there is no easier way, lets hope he will find time to write the app.

i downloaded the latest version on the code page:
2.2-Alpha-(No-Dol).zip and the DOL file for 249. I'm on CIOS REV 20, but when I want to update the pictures, it shows me everytime failed to initialize network.
Also the language file is not update-able...

Are you connected wirelessly or via a wired network connection? The bug that did not allow the wired connection to initialize has been fixed, but the version that has that fix has not yet been released. I too am waiting patiently for this to come out. Version r181 is the most recent revision that allows connection to the internet, as I recall. Hopefully they will be able to release something soon, the other option is to keep using 181, go wireless, or do without. Well, you could also go to wiitdb.com and download the covers on your computer, then copy them over to the boxcovers directory (for full covers).

I don't know the kosherness of this, but I found my download of r181, fortuitously for 249 also. I uploaded the rar to both my mediafire and megaupload account. If any of the admins have a problem with this, let me know and/or edit my post. Another way out would be to release the next version of WiiFlow. ;-)

Oh, also the standard disclaimer, I am not the supplier, I won't be able to give any tech support on anything, I am not responsible if anything happens at all, from it working all the way through the Wii becoming a WMD and destroying Earth. Though, if that happens I guess I won't be able to provide tech support anyway.

@schroder08, they wont have a problem because R181 is an update that is also downloadable from wiiflow itself.
Here is a mediafire link to all IOS versions...

Ok, cool. Glad to hear, also wasn't sure about links to outside sites. I realize that if anything is allowed it would be a file sharing site for this purpose, but some places are crazy strict.

Checked the Wiiflow FAQ and some other sites and couldn't find answers to my problems so here goes.

Using Wiiflow 2.2 r228 (cIOS 249, cIOSx rev 20b (base is 56 or 57, can't remember) on a 4.1U NTSC Wii.

Problem 1) Using this latest version of Wiiflow, when I'm scrolling through my list of games, some are out of order. Example, Wii Fit (instead of being right next to Wii Fit Plus) shows up in the R's because it's title is shown as "RVL?? Wiifit" (or something like that). This wasn't a problem with older versions of Wiiflow. How can I manually edit that name/title ID or configure Wiiflow to display it like it did with the older version?

Problem 2) Every single time I go into a game and click the gear icon to configure its' settings, when I click on the button to download a cheat code, a screen comes up and says "Downloading cheat file..." and after 5 minutes or so, it errors out that the download failed and it can NEVER complete downloading any cheat file for any game. My Wii is using wireless and yes, it's properly configured. I tried toggling that one option in Wiiflow to initialize the network on/off but it makes no difference. I had r92 on there and updated it by clicking on the ? key and selecting upgrade so I know the network is fine.

1. Try removing any title.ini and updating WiiTDB in the "download covers and titles" menu
2. geckocodes.org was down for a bit, thats why the cheats download was failing. Anyways we dont like that it takes so long to timeout so we are looking into a way to fix that up in libogc (yes it is a libogc problem, not wiiflow)
