Gonna try it now! Im excited! lol. Can you maybe point me in the direction of doing this myself if I were to change tv's and needed to alter it? I'm not sure how much work goes into it, and by no means do I want you to do anymore than you have already done. Gonna google about dol's and creating them and maybe figure out how to open yours and edit the width? Dunno but thank you so much for this!

EDIT: Man I love you right now, it's working fine, I f'ing love you right now! Don't even reply to my above questions, I'll figure it out myself because this is SO f'ing awesome and you have done enough! Take the day off! LOL Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!
just tell me the new width and I'll compile it for you again if needed :)

Hi there Abz,

I recently switched to using the Gambatte plugin for GB/GBC as I like the accuracy, but I've noticed a problem with it. After loading a game the message "Gamecube Controller configured in port 1" pops up on the bottom of the screen for a second, disappears, then returns again and again and again. It's got nothing to do with that controller specifically, whether I use GC, Wii, classic, it all has the same behavior - in fact it responds to gameplay, in Kirby's Dreamland for instance it happens every time you interact with an enemy. Have you been able to test it yourself? All Retroarch cores display the message but this is the only one where it keeps happening.

I've experimented with different control bindings but I just end up locking myself out and. as far as I can tell, you can't just turn off the messages. I remember in previous cores the input messages wouldn't appear at all, though, so is there any chance you have any older Wiiflow plugins for Gambatte? According to the menu it's Gambatte (v0.5.0) from the 1.3.4 set, which I think is the most recent from your 2016 pack. Of course, if you have any other suggestions they're more than welcome. Thanks :D

Thanks very much, I just tried it and the messages don't appear! :D It will tide me over for now, though I'll miss the ability to remember video settings. I did some more experimenting with the latest .dol and will quickly append my earlier statement - it only happens with Gamecube controllers (wired, wireless, adapters, whatever!) I was just confused as it lists every connected controller in the messages. If you disconnect all the GC stuff and play with the Wii controller it behaves normally. I tried a few of the Retroarch nightlies to see if there was any sign of the bug being fixed but they all crashed, really hope they're able to work it out it in the near future as it's a great emulator.

Glad that old dol fixed your bug
Report it to retroarch guys I'm sure someone will see it and do something about it, it's an active project

CoD games require a cIOS based on IOS57. If it's not working it's probably a corrupt disc image.
What cios base 57?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I'm working with this newer wii, it's blue, and has no GC ports. Everything seems to be working except for vc, and wiiware games. I tried with an 8GB usb stick, which I now believe is corrupt or something, and am now trying with a different 8GB stick. Same results, I extracted the nand, installed VC games to it, and put it on the stick, and pointed wiiflow to it. Sometimes it gets to the screen asking for a classic controller, but after that, it either just stays black, or returns to wii menu. I tried it with, and without DLC wads. I've also modified the nand with modmii, installing a cios or whatever. I can't get it, to fully emulate the nand, it seems like every time I try to set up uneek+di I have problems, but I don't need that as long as wiiflow can just boot the games. Any ideas? I'll try to get a syscheck up for this wii if necessary. The nand doesn't need to be set up with uneek to play vc games off of it in wiiflow, correct?

This time I pasted the nand from my other working wii onto this new USB stick, and it just won't run games of emunand. Emulators and other stuff works fine off this usb stick, but no emunand? Could it be incompatible usb storage stick? When I plug in my HDD that I use on my main wii, it emulates nand on this newer wii, no problem. It has to be incompatible stick, right?

You're using d2x "alt" version. It has compatibility issues with EmuNAND. It's only useful if you have to use a USB port for your HDD other than port 0. You can try installing the regular d2x v10 beta52 and see if that makes a difference.

Also, if you moved your nand folder from one drive to another you might have to delete the "sneekcache" folder from the nand folder and also the nandcfg file in the SNEEK folder.
