Hardware WiiCan with SMG?

So as it turns out today, I have WiiCan, so I was wondering, does anybody know if SMG works with it?
General info on this unknown (And probably sucky) chip will be helpful too,

It's not a Wiikey clone. Both versions of the Wiican http://omo-1.com/products.htm use different chips than the Wiikey. Apparently it runs open source code based on Wiikey and is not upgradeable unless you pull the chip and wire it up to a programmer.

BoneMonkey, look at the link he posted. Those are in no way, shape or form WiiKey clones. Unless you can find something other than a Wiki page (that still says that D2CKey isn't out yet) that reports otherwise, I'm tempted to believe the other guy.

Wow, that wiki chart really makes me glad I got a WiiKey...

I knotice it says NO on all of them for Wii homebrew. Is there any wii Homebrew? Is is possible?
