Hacking wii wont read discs

ok so i havent been on my wii for maybe 2-3 months. i thought its time i gave it some use

i have an original pal wii i got it the day it came out

i also have the wiikey running 1.9 s

i updated to 3.4e

it was ok i played ssmb for bit

then i rememberd all this homebrew stuff is out

i had allready downloaded the iso so i burnt it put it on the wii

i get a messaged an error has occured press eject button and remove disc

when it boots up with that homebrew disc i get system files are currupt

if i take the disc out the wii works fine, i can navigate the menus.

but the console will not read any disc, all my backusp wont work

i get unable to read disc error

any ideas thanx

is the cios installed? as if it cant read disc then its possible the cios is either not there or instaled wrong

I can't understand what you did. You have used some "homebrew disc", i guess that's the problem.

He has a modchip, he doesn't need a cIOS.

You could Try formatting the wii, but no guarantee That it will work but i suggest you Copy your Save's on an SD card First, If you have the HBC (Home brew Channel) Get wii Gator backup launcher gamma, since you have a mod chip everything should work soooo, hope this helps.
