Gaming Wii won't copy savedata to SD

When I went to copy the savedata for SSB to my SD card it said something like this file cannot be copied. It doesn't give a reason, is there one? If I cannot use the Wii's utility, is there a homebrew one that will copy the data?

SSBB will not copy because of a protection.. (they have this because the save file contains your FC for the game, and if you copy this to another console, you both will have the same FCs)

So should I not copy it to another console, just keep it on mine? It should just remove the FC from the file and if you copy it to another Wii insert the new one.

What if I would get a new Wii? Would there be a way to use this file on it?

Is there a way I can install it as a Channel on my Wii? (Convert it to a WAD?)

How do I copy the savedata without putting in the disk, that's gay the whole point of me modding was so I don't have to swap disks all the time...
