RetroArch Wii USB

1st off my SD Card Reader on my Wii is not working, So I can't use it

I can't get RetroArch to show up in my Apps Folder in the Homebrew Channel

I copied all the Files to my Apps Folder usb/apps/retroarch-wii still nothing

Went in WiiXplorer, went in the boot.dol in retroarch..kicked me out of WiiExplorer

Again I have to use USB, not the SD Card slot

First, make sure your Homebrew Channel is up to date and running under IOS58 (or 80?) which will allow reading from USB ports.
Older Homebrew Channel versions doesn't support apps in USB.

Then, make sure you have USB formatted to FAT32 with 32k Cluster Size. Boot sector doesn't matter as long as you're not using USB LOADER GX in which case, use MBR.

Then, your USB should have:

USB://apps/retroarch-wii/[boot.dol] [icon.png] [meta.xml] [cores_libretro_wii.dol]

It should be all.

PS: DO NOT utilize RetroArch versions beyond 1.9.0.
Personally, I recommend 1.8.9 as it's the most stable version.

I have 1.1.0, IOS58 v26.32, I'm playing the apps though USB

I downloaded the 1.1.2 ver. of the Homebrew Channel

But I have the Cores showing up in my folder, select a Game

I have RetroArch v1.9.6 do I need the cores for that version?

RetroArch is a frickin mess after 1.9.0

1.9.0 introduces audio crackling in almost all cores.

Like I said, get 1.8.9 and call it a day.

Formating to FAT or FAT32 nothing

I'm at a loss here, it worked before & even with the USB
