Hacking Wii WAD Question

Hey guys I'm new here and I just wanted to say hey to everyone. I was wondering if I put Wad files(VC game channels) on my wii will it affect anything? Like could I still buy actual games from the wii shop channel without anything going wrong?

PS: After I update to version 4.4/4.3? (THE NEWEST UPDATE VERSION) will it do anything to the WADS?

no it will not affect anything, and the update is 3.4 BTW, lol, but if you are in there right now, you may not be able to install those, if you didn't previously installed a Custom IOS like cIOS36_r7 (6, 5, 4)

dont upgrade....stay on 3.3.. and preferably downgrade to 3.2...

of course we dont discuss illegal wads here...but if someone were to install illegal wads, they still would be able to play legit games, and legal downloaded VC and WiiWare games....

Haha I don't wanna upgrade D: But I heard to play Animal Crossing City Folk you gotta upgrade....
I'm getting that game and I wanna be able to play it D:, I don't care about having the homebrew channel
It's just wads...

Naah - you can downgrade again when you discover that u prefer to be able to use wads instead of a game- should take you about a week.

(Emperors stance is NEVER UPGRADE)

lol whoever told ypu you have to upgrade to 3.4 for AC:CF lied i'm on 3.2u with satrfall hacks.
it launches fine with update blocked hack or backup loaders i suggest find a guide here for downgrading to 3.2 and installing starfall.

You don't need to upgrade to 3.4 to play Animal Crossing City Folk. Just Google IOS38 and install that wad. (I think IOS38 allows online play?) Then you're fine. I'm on 3.2 and I'm able to play it.

i never installed the wad and it plays for me?
or is that for online play haven't tried that yet.

The only thing you have to worry about with WAD's besides bricking your Wii with a bad one is....
that some older WAD's were not fully created/hacked very well...
The creators did not edit the install name so if you go to delete a vc tiltle let's say and visually on the system menu it's donkey kong but on any title deleter it's Mario Brothers....
