Hardware Wii update help! (Easy question)

I have a 3.1 U Wii modded with Wiikey.

I wanted to get version 3.2U, but if I do the update using wi fi conection, will I get the Ios 37 thing that messes up with trucha games?
Is there a way to update and remain in the good ios?

Use Naruto... atleast that's what i did

Or use WUM and than any game
