i have installed ios 62 and the wii u trsnafer tool version v516 but when i launch it it says "this software is incompatible with this console and it when i try to get it from the shop channel it says i need to update but i cant because of my wii being modded help

Just update, if it is modded it will only remove cIOS but channels wont get deleted.

Install the latest HBC before updating to ensure it won't be deleted by the update.
Apart from that you may need to reinstall cIOS after updating but that's all.
