Nice find, tested it with any other games on the 64 yet? Would it be possible with games from other consoles?

Thanks, hehe. =]

Well, any game which is playable on project 64 or any other n64 emulator which store saves as .eep files and the game has an official virtual console version must be compatible with that. I don't know if injected games works with that my method, so, result is unknown.

About other consoles: it depends if wiiu virtual console games use compatible/same save style as the pc emulator does, but seeing the the bomberman 64 save folder has a .sav file in it, i believe that it must not be that different from n64 game(s).

I'd test it myself if I had any 64 Virtual Console games, like to know if it works for Ocarina and Majora's Mask.

Speaking of which, I lost a completed save file for Wind Waker along with some other games, if anyone had a 100% complete first quest for WWHD I'd appreciate it. I've been working my way through a few games that I plan to upload saves of soon.

I know for a fact it works with DK 64 since i imported my 100% DK 64 to the Wii U VC from Project 64 just because i wanted to use the unlockable cheats on a new game.

Tried it with Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, and Super Mario 64DS. No luck so far, tried several .sav files and action replay save files on the net, not sure if the region matters on them, or if I'm not converting the .sav files to .SAVE files properly. If anyone else knows the issue or wants to give it a shot let me know.

Saves are compatible with Desmume.
I got SM64DS saves working from VC to Desmume just fine.

Did you just change the file extension, or run it through a program? Theoretically if I converted a save to one that'd work in Desmume could I then convert it to a .save file to work on the Wii U VC?

I don't remember exactly.
It's been years.

But basically, try doing this:
Make a save in the DS VC. Just a starting one, then take that save and try to load it up in an emulator, try both Desmume and No$GBA, it should work on one of those.
Once ypu figure out how, you can then grab saves from that emu and use them for VC.

If i change the us game id to the eur game id, are the saves going to work?

It depends if the game don't have language difference files. For example, i injected Battalion Wars GC into my WIi U. I forced a EUR save to be converted to USA one. When i started that game exactly after that, it, indeed, had everything unlocked as promised, but, all text was invisible, due to language difference files had.

Since that occurred, i discovered about this kind of issue about Nintendo console games.

I will have no problem with text , i dont know if it is only me but i get tired of so much text and so Many minutes of cinematic movies , i just want to play .
Some cinematics are Amazing, Bue there should be an óption inside some games that let you play with or without the videos .

Just imagine the game without any text, even the menu ones. That's what happened to me on the game which used the save i forced to be converted.

That's not an issue if you know all texts from your mind and you know where/when to avoid clicking the delete entire save data, for example.

Ho the menu text as well, didnt know ; thats another story !

Is there a way to convert Loadiine/CEMU saves to regular virtual console saves? Found a download of Super Mario Advance 4 on youtube here and was wondering if that could be converted somehow.

Might be worth noting for some of the EUR people pulling there hair out...
Alot of the US save files work on EU. You might just have to change the game title number, or if using CEMU, just replace the folders.

I can confirm smash bros USA file works fine on the EU version.
Also Mario Kart.

Great , i will try it my Mario Kart ! Is it posible to download saves with cheat codes included and starting the game from 0 ?

Does anyone here have LEGO game saves of 100% or close to? LEGO Dimensions, Marvel Super Heroes, Avengers, any of them would be greatly appreciated. I have the Avengers one in the index from page 1 but missing so much. Hope I am posting in the right place! Just a lost girl looking for some assistance!!!!!

Anyone still following this thread that is a Super Mario Maker fan?

I'm wanting a save that has everything 100% unlocked but also with tons of downloaded awesome levels (no troll, normal/expert/super expert, high user ratings?) for use with an offline Wii-U. I downloaded the dashie levels, and will try that out, but hoping to get it all in one file

Anyone a fan and willing to give a save? Updates/no updates/DLC/no dlc doesn't matter, as long as I know whether it is from a system with or without so I can set mine up the same way,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, since is a VC inject and not an official wii u title, but i have a clear data for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Prosecutor's Path (Gyakuten Kenji 2 fan translation)
This game works flawlessly on wii u vc, but near the end there is a part in which you have to search for fingerprint by applying powder and blow it away by actually blowing into the microphone. The microphone actually works, it detects you blowing and the animation for the dust flying away is there, but the game doesn't keep going. This is easily solved by moving the save on pc and get past that part on an emulator. I did that, and then moved the updated savedata back into the wii u. Then i beat the game and i encountered no errors, so i'm sharing my clear data. This is meant for both people who want to play the game and be able skip all text (as every other ace attorney game, you have to beat the game first in order to fast forward all the text you want) and those who want to play the game after the fingerprint part, because if you select continue it gets you right after that part, without skipping anything else. It's no big deal, but if you are in that part of the game and you want to save time you just have to inject this data without moving the save on pc first.
The title id of the save matches the one used by a inject made by another user from another site, but if you have your own inject and you rename the folder with that inject's title id it SHOULD work fine, make a backup of your current save first, just in case.
