I'm new to loadiine and I can't quite figure out how to make your save work. I know I have a "c" and "u" folder that loadiine uses. I tried putting the files in your 80000001 folder into my "u" folder and the files in your common folder into my "c" folder but that didn't work in shared mode. so I tried putting the files in your 80000001 folder into my unique ID folder and the files in your common folder into my "common" folder but, that didn't work either in "unique" mode. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hmmm... Its a little complicated. Have you tried with other MK8 saves? Maybe its because of the DLC save, do you have them? Besides, your game is USA or PAL? It seems that MK8 could be region locked.

I have not tried with other MK8 saves because yours is the only one that has the DLC which I do have. My game is USA. If it is region locked, How can I unlock it? I thought loadiine was region free. ???

You have to have the game itself from the same region as the save.

I am having the same problems as slash8789. I'm using Loadiine with Mario Kart 8 (NTSC-U) and trying to use others' save files. No matter which save files I use (USA with DLC or USA without DLC), the game always starts as if it's the first time. I can put my own backed-up save file back on the card in the same directories and it works fine again, but anyone else's saves simply do not work at all. Even though I was certain that I have a USA copy (used ddd), I even tried a Europe save file and no dice there either (as expected). I have imported other save files without any trouble, so I am baffled why MK8 is giving me trouble.

You're lucky. I can't even get saviine to dump my save.

EDIT: I got saviine to dump my own save but, I still can't get it to work in Loadiine. I'm thinking maybe its how I have my folder structured? I have sd:wiiu/saves/SMK8 [title]/8000029 & common. I am using unique mode in loadiine.

There are many factors that you might missing. First, in your WiiU, do you have installed/bought the MK8 DLCs? Loadiine only loads DLCs if you have them in first place.

With any other game, my advice would be to play the game once and let Loadiine create the folders for you, and then empty them out and copy in the files from your dump or download. However, for MK8, that hasn't worked for me, so I can't promise that will help. Given that you're using unique saving mode, I suspect that those folders are already what they should be.

Yes, I already stated I did.

Already tried and that didn't work either.

Just for the record, I am not using unique mode, so between slash8789 and myself, we know that's not the issue.

Sounds like you're having the same problem as me then. Has anyone been successful in getting Mario Kart 8 (via Loadiine) to recognize someone else's saved data?

Don't have anything to contribute but I just wanted to share that the Zelda TP HD save file works fine on the US version.

I actually used it to load up the Cave of Shadows (the creator never went in), and exited at Floor 6 (after refilling with a Zelda Amiibo on Floor 5) and saved the full 20 hearts to the amiibo. I'm now ready for a Wolf Link with full 20 hearts in Breath of the Wild! yay!

For those wondering, the only data saved to the Wolf Link amiibo is the amount of hearts upon exiting the cavern. All other data about the Cave of Shadows is stored on the game's save file.

You're actually better off than me because I can't get my own save to work.

I'm having problems with Super Mario Maker. I have the USA version with the v192 update, and costumes 102 to 131 don't unlock with the 148 costumes save file.

Does anyone have a save file for Zero: Nuregarasu no Miko (NTSC-J) with all costumes unlocked? I want those girls on bikini you know...

Thanks!

Thanks to the power of TCPGecko, I was able to edit the last save on the MK8 list of the original post.

Well I finally beat every circuit of MK8 with 3 stars including all the DLC boards. I have every stamp and every mii outfit. Don't have time trials done so it's not true 100% but closer than anything else I've seen in this thread. Anyone interested?
