Hacking Wii U hacking questions

I currently have 3 issues

I currently have haxchi and cbhc set up.

1. How do I know if I have Haxchi or Mocha currently running? Somehow the homebrew launcher ended up on the wii u menu and I dont remember using a forwarder.

2. I can use WiiU_USB_Helper but it will not recognize my Wii U. How do I get the program to see the Wii U?

3. usbloader_gx will recognize my game offs my hard drive, but the games will not load, the game acts like its loading and closes out back to the homebrew browser. I am using a Y Usb cable.
