I don't understand what is retro arch? When reading readme,it say it is somewhat a library, not a emulator...

I haven´t really followed the scene, but it looks like it made huge progress the last month. With that said I wanted to ask if there´s a way to lunch HomebrewLauncher/Loadiine offline without having to host it myself. For example like an app I just have to klick on or something.

Would it ever be possible to run 3ds games on the wiiu?
Perhaps you could stream with NTR CFW if someones ports NTR Viewer to the Wii U, it is open source so, it think that is doable and could give a "Super Game Boy" feel [emoji14]

Is it possible to have cfw_booter search for the fw.img in a path longer than 31 characters, or will it begin to overwrite other critical things in the IOSU's memory? Just curious if that's the only amount of space available, or if it was just an arbitrary number picked when coding it.

In which world do you honestly think the Wii U's power is anywhere close enough to emulate 3DS games?

Current iterations of Citra struggle with mediocre results on far more powerful machines and even if someone ever bothers to port a by then optimized emulator because he hates himself enough, that thing's gonna run like ass on the Wii U.

Give up and either buy a decent PC or invest that money into a 3DS.

People ported a ds emulator to the wii even though it won't run good. Why not citra to the wii u?

You said it yourself. Citra could probably be ported, but it would be unplayable.

People need to understand how computers work. The 3DS uses ARM architecture, the Wii U uses PPC. They're completely incompatible, thus the emulation job will be mighty.

Why won't it run good? The Wii also had a DS emulator and it ran somewhat good, so why shouldn't it on the Wii U?
Just give it a bit of time.

Retroarch is like a framework for running various emulators, which it refers to as cores. So, snes core, megadrive core, gameboy core etc, all running under retroarch.

Actually, the framework is Libretro. The emulation cores are Libretro cores. RetroArch is the frontend.
