Can you not get a pre-pay Canadian visa, or similar, and load it from your bank account to buy games on the Canadian store?

Last time I checked Ninty didn't check IP addresses when ordering online but you could always go through a Canadian proxy if needed to bypass the IP restriction.

Failing all that then I'd say you would have to go online and update to the latest FW as it is currently exploitable. Then keep it offline/unplugged and await Hykems release (Shouldn't bother you too much waiting if you have no games to play online anyways)

Sorry if my post was unclear, I meant to access and use the Eshop. If you have a Canadian console, IP and Visa card then why wouldn't they allow you to buy.

Only if someone ported the stuff over for you. I think only the provisional update 5.3.1 can run the stuff from 5.3.2 out of the box. If I'm wrong, great, but otherwise that means you prob need the nnu-patcher changed/ported, as well as wup installer. osdriver might work out of the box though. Havent messed with either in a while.

You have a PC with a GTX 970? You could simply use dosbox to run dos games. No need to mess with the wii u.

He has no reason not to and he's a known member who has released stuff before. Have a little faith. I've given you a way to access the eshop which was your original question. It's now up to you weather you want to try it or sit tight and wait. Personally I would hold off and wait. You could always use your beefy GTX 970 to play pretty much anything you like whilst your waiting.

You have a PC with a GTX 970? You could simply use dosbox to run dos games. No need to mess with the wii u.
