why the fuck do you guys take all of this so seriously, it's stupid

this thread has reached levels dumber than ever, ever since this all started.

let plutoo do what he wants, let hykem do what he wants. fucking hell this isn't a competition, stop treating it like so.

I guess some people have nothing else to do except stalking people, trolling & flaming. If only they'd use that energy & time to learn hacking, reverse engineering etc. themself, things would've been a lot more interesting!

MN1 mentioned once that the bug Hykem is using is way much reliable than the race one, so hopefully ^^. Also Hykem is working on another bug to allow for boot time exploit, might be even more reliable :) we can only hope for now, and there is always room for improvig the exploit after the release.
From the presentation smea, derrek and plutoo held at the 32c3 it seemed they were using mostly buffer overrun techniques leading to allocate memory in protected areas. That would explain, why they're experiencing those problems with the "IOSU internal buffer overrun protector".
When Marionumber1 states that Hykem's exploit is more reliable he could have found a bug that is not associated with buffer overrun techniques - We'll definitely see what happens :)

I agree, and I don't see how what I'm doing and what you're doing is far from that ^^. So it's not only some people ;).

Hykem said this week, so let's wait on the burning train.
I don't remember him saying this week.

The only things he made clear :
- He's releasing everything he got before February.
- If the bug that he's persuing for a boot time hack doesn't work, he'll release everything.
- He's doing most of the work during January since it's the only month when he got time so he'll even provide maintenance and support after the release of that happened this month.

Non of those things emply that he's releasing the exploit this week, but it doesn't mean he may not ^^.

It seems people don't understand that it won't go faster the more often it's asked for a release date :D
I'm pretty sure the release will be announced on the front page of gbatemp.

Currently: No concrete ETA - it could be any day from now on 'till January, 31st

He said last week "Next week or so is a more plausible release date" then we all got crazy about the plutoo "Hello from iosu kernel" and he came back and said nothing had changed.
"Next week or so is a more plausible release date" <--- He said this before he found the MCP bug ;).
