Are we able to look at the Wii games running in Wii U mode yet? Or do we need the browser to 'open the door' as it were?

how to blacklist url in the rooter?I not understand.
Go inside of your router (look it up in its manual, if you don't know how to), look for Firewall settings and usually there should be a blacklist feature! Maybe you can look it up in the manual as well! If you don't have a physical one, look for it online! Most manufacturers put them online ;)

I tried:
the latest osdriver exploit on GitHub

this codehandler: http://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-hacking-homebrew-discussion.367489/page-480#post-5635450
+
this version of Gecko dotNET: http://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-hacking-homebrew-discussion.367489/page-474#post-5632373

and when I click "Read FSA", Mario Kart 8 freezes after the demo video and Gecko dotNET disconnects.
What's wrong?
1.Mario kart 8 has a Menu.
2.Connect to your Wii U.
3.Select read FSA.

It worked
So before starting the process, we need to open the menu or something to stop the demo video :)

@MrRean Which files do you need? :D

Here are the html files I used:

@MrRean For Windows users (maybe also Wine, didn't test it) there is a way to get the game update files!

1.) Pull your WiiU out off the outlet! If you don't want to risk updating the fw!
2.) Disable the URL-blacklist.
3.) Get UWizard, goto:
Settings->Search for Updates (to get the latest version and database)
3.1.) Close UWizard for now.
4.) Search for the Wii U common key online. Less than 1min search.
5.) Use a HexEditor of your choice, create an empty file and copy the key inside of it.
6.) Save it as "ckey.bin" in the same directory as the UWizard exe is.

[do steps 4-6 with the "Espresso ancast key", but name the file it differently]
(looks like the Ancast key is used for something else, can someone concretise?)

7.) Open UWizard again (or restart it, if you didn't close it before)
8.) Under the "Settings" tab check whether to the right of "Wii U Common Key" and "Wii U Espresso Ancast Key" in a green box stating that it accords to the "SHA1-Hash". If not, point to the files containing the keys! (or directly enter the keys [not recommended this way due to potential loss])
9.) Go to the "NUS Downloader U" tab and choose a game in the list to the right! (or add one from here)
10.) Tick the "Decrypt content" box and start the download.
10.1.) Wait until everything is finished
10.2) Continue with any of the other games until you have all of the files you need.
11.) Enable your URL-blacklist again! (make sure you can't access ANY of the URLs!)
12.) Put the Wii U into the outlet again and enjoy using the updates! :P

Edit: Splatoon's PAL ID is a little messed up in the database!

UWizard does have some other interesting features. Look through the tabs and explore! ;)
And sorry if I named some of the tabs and strings wrong. I didn't use the English version! :P

This may be a stupid question as I'm not really a technical person when it comes to this stuff, but is there anyway to make an exploit using Caffine? What I mean is taking the files of a game like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, modifying them so they are corrupted and patching them in (in theory) making my own exploit. The reason I ask is because a game like Smash Wii U has SD Card access in which could load content off of that. I realize there was an exploit using the photos at one point in development, but then got scrapped. Would this idea be easier? Now I'm a box of rocks when it comes to this stuff :P, but was just kind of curious about it.

I'm not 100% sure if code files can be replaced, but it could be used to dump code files to find bugs in games' codes that could be used to exploit them. (since updates can be removed via the WiiU's Settings->Data manager it would make sense to look in v1.0 of the games since bug could also have been removed with updates.
But reverse-engineering the CafeOS libraries and finding out their functions has priority over finding a game-exploit! ;)

I know this already. The DLC files are extra and you need the ticket for them to download them.

Ah, right! In MK8 they actually split the files over Update and DLC download alike! :P I forgot about that! ^^
But those who find something interesting in the update files can look around in them! (and maybe re-activate the rupee bug in HW? :D )
