He was banned for posting stuff that really didnt belong here. Im still in touch with him however and as far as i know hes still plugging away at his exploit.....

He wasnt trolling, what hes up to is definitely possible (at least in theory) and we all know he was able to dump the common key. Only time will tell if his exploit is feasible.... He IS a very smart guy though. He just needs to learn to filter what hes posting....

i doubt if somebody was a decent developer helping bring the wii u scene to light that the mods at GBAtemp would ban/block him???? surely a warning or few would be first!! it doesnt sound to me like anybody has seen anything from ryanrocks to prove otherwise?

I don't think this was ever proven.

He has released the hash for it a while back. I know the basis for how he did it (not exactly, but with a lot work, i could prolly dump it myself.

As for warnings go, Ryan had plenty of them for posting piracy/warez related crap. The fact that he didnt heed those warnings and kept posting that stuff, is what got him banned

Ryan didn't have anything. If anything, Govanify had something (which I highly doubt anyway). Ryan is famous for posting random phrases which seem more revealing than they are. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Oh if it comes from GovanifY there is ZERO chance he dumped it himself.
AND if he had it (from a stolen skype hack) he would have released it by now(So he's probably just trying to social engineer his way to the key).
So ZERO chance he has/had it. But since it isn't his own work, I ,also,have zero interest(perhaps negative interest,if possible).

The fact that both julialy and I could easily fake the sha1sum picture means that such pictures should not be believed. Also, I'm pretty sure that Ryan's picture did not even have the correct output format for sha1sum.
