Maybe there's a library that allows to load the disc in userland.
Does someone have information whether there is such a library on Cafe OS and whether it's accessible via userland or not? :D
Do you mean a libary on OSv11?
and yes there exist a libary called sysapp.rpl it allow direct app launching!

I've been roaming the site for a while now, but haven't bothered to post...

Is there any updates on the webkit exploit (debugging wise) and the kernel? When Matthew_Wi posted the video of him using TCPGecko on Splatoon, it skyrocketed my interest over 9000.

Love the work so far, devs!

The kernel exploit has been functional for quite a while, but its race attack (the core of the exploit) is very unstable. It often takes several tries to get it to work, so I'm attempting to debug its timing and make it succeed more often.

The browser exploit hasn't been concentrated on for a while, as we've been working on the kernel exploit. I plan to get back to that soon.

Gaiiiss
Has anyone tried new Yoshis Wooly World, does it ask to update to 5.4.0 ? Im planning to buy it tommorow but Im scared that it needs the update.
I have it and have been playing it on my 5.3.2 Australian console, doesn't seem to be trying to update me so I guess it's safe?

That should be the case!
Thanks for the information! :)

Edit:
Now we only have to find out about the Japanese and NTSC releases! :D
People living in those areas: Please share whether it works for you or not! :)

Is the current exploit able to make things like removing the play count limit in demo games possible ? or modify the play counts?

Good job for all the current work, keep it up.

I think that's managed by IOSU, due to what I remember from the Wii. Way back in 2008, bushing and marcan presented IOS's title management, and I recall them mentioning how a ticket could become invalid after a certain number of plays.

EDIT: Found it, start at 13:17.
