Hardware Wii U Gamepad does not show the picture but LCD works

I have the following problem:

I bought a used Wii U with Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and everything seemed to work on the first day but then I tried the powersaving mode in the menu of the gamecontroller but since then I have big issue.

The Gamepad does not show any image anymore it always shows the attached screen but it seems to work - the button inputs are recognized.

But still it is not usable and I dont know what I did wrong?

Try take out the battery and reseat it.

It meant this way for this game. You can change it in the game option using your tv.
