Hardware Wii U 8GB

Hi. So I plan on getting my self a Wii U 8gb. Now I have a Wii U so I can do system transfer and that stuff but here is my question. After I get my Wii U I am going to get a 1tb external hard drive (white to match it ) however. If I say get xenoblade X run that on the main HDD then Install download the updates on the eshop for it to the external hard drive will the game on the main HDD still play the updates for it. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if it's possible to download the main game and update files to different locations. You'll have to choose to install it all on system memory or all on the HDD, I think.

No need to get such a paltry small storage-level system. Black Friday is coming up and there are some really, really good 32GB Wii U deals that are coming along with it, like a bundle that includes both Smash Brothers and Splatoon.
Get more storage now. You'll thank yourself in the end for it.
