HI,
Got the wii u on the above firmware and used the exploit and loaded haxchi and home brew app, but after a while now when loading the home brew from the home screen it gives me an error code on some of the games 199.9999 and i cant play the gave any more, while some of the the games are working perfectly.
is there any fix for this so that i can play the rest of the games on the usb ext HDD.
many thanks

Error 199-9999 is the error for failed signature check. The games that are working fine are installed with what we call "legit tickets" or more accurately, tickets dumped from a retail disc. The ones giving you the error code were installed with "fake signed" tickets. The solution is to launch your Haxchi into cfw mode before launching those games. The method for doing this depends on what was in the config.txt file when you installed Haxchi. If you didn't mess with this file AND you got Haxchi from the official repo, the default method for launching cfw would be to hold down the "B" button while Haxchi launches. So as soon as you see the Haxchi logo, hold down "B" until you get kicked back to the Wii U menu. Then you can launch those games. Alternatively you can install CBHC if launching cfw this way is annoying to you. It has some brick risks associated with it but really only if you format the system without uninstalling CBHC first. OR you can use other means of signature patching like Mocha or Simple Signature Patcher. Since you already have Haxchi, I would just use the method I described.

Hello,

yes, as dojafoja says:

If you have simple Haxchi, use "simple signature patcher", and everything will be fine

i got all the apps and instructins from here, i have put haxchi as mentined in a folder which says do not touch in red colour,
and the home brew is showing as a tile on the main screen.
tell me if i am correct.
i need to open Haxchi from the red do not touch folder and hold the B button while haxchi launches and then the game will play fine.
many thanks

Using an extra signature patcher is unnecessary because haxchi patches the sysnand already after launching.

do not touch
Do you have cbhc installed? Don't touch me (sounds at least to me like that) means it is cbhc. By the way...did you also buy the ds vc game in the eshop?

the ds vc game was already purchased and i downloaded it to complete the process of installing haxchi in 2018,i then made home brew and the red folder and named it do not touch as mentioned in the tutorial here. i think the ds game which was married to the account is deleted now.
can i purchase the DS VC from the estore and run the exploit again
or just press B button and boot into the CFM and play
I dont want the kids to mess the do not touch folder and brick the console.
can some one please advice me

Yeah, buy it if it is not yours.

then made home brew and the red folder and named it do not touch
You need the haxchi "icon" because this is your "cfw". Only if you have cbhc, then you should create a folder where you place the cbhc icon.

I dont want the kids to mess the do not touch folder and brick the console.
The regular haxchi doesn't brick the console if the app should be accidentally deleted.

Kids will be kids, and they like to mess with stuff they shouldn't. So if I were you, I wouldn't install CBHC. Now concerning Haxchi, modify the config.txt file before installing. It should say this originally:

a=fw.img
b=sysmenu
default=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf

Modify to:

a=fw.img
default=sysmenu
b=wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf

Save, and then install Haxchi with this modified file. When you'll want to boot in CFW, just tap the Haxchi icon after booting the Wii U. No need to press any button.
