Hacking Wii Theme brick help please

first off, holding reset doesn't take u to bootmii, it takes u 2 priiloader

if u have bootmii installed as boot2 (which u probably don't, but u haven't performed the test I've asked u to, or at least haven't reported results) it should start up to bootmii as long as u have an sd card inserted that has a "bootmii" folder on it with all the right files inside it, make sure the bootmii.ini has autoboot set to disabled

okay, make sure its on the root of your sd card and it is named "bootmii" exactly, one spelling mistake and it wont work

and open the bootmii.ini file in a text editor and copy and paste the contents here

ur current configuration is to autoboot the HBC... hmmmm, its possible u have an old bootmii, looking for the HAXX HBC, but u may have updated the HBC to the new JODI HBC (so its failing to autoboot the HAXX homebrew channel)... if that's the case, u should still be able to access bootmii (if its installed as boot2)

replace the contents of your bootmii.ini file with the following, put the sd card in the wii again, and if u have bootmii as boot2, it will start directly to bootmii as boot2, if this fails, then u for sure don't have bootmii as boot2 and u r just ask screwed as u were 5 minutes ago

Will The Big N even accept Wii's that have been modded? I know M$ and $0NY don't with 360's and PSP's. If they do, then that's a really good thing because one of my friends has this same problem.

They do
But you'll have to pay for it, even if you still have warranty

They will probably just replace your wii instead of fixing it though...

And you will lose all save files and channels, and you will get a non-vulnerable boot1, meaning bootmii will only install as IOS when you get it back, and your DVD drive will be replaced with a D3-2 drive, which is bad...

But if it's cheaper than a new wii... then I guess send it in.
