Hacking Wii System Update

so i have preloader 0.29 and soft mii installed hbc etc 3.2e firmware

was thinking of doing a wii system update and starting again from fresh etc

is this ok to do???????????????????

What exactly did you install from softmii? cIOSrev something and some mIOS and CIOSCORP?

I think for CIOSCORP you can get rid of it by running IOS downgrader. Updating through official update may do that as well. Did you install any new themes or something with it too? Installing a normal system menu over that should fix that.

Anyways, if you do do an official update, to redo stuff just follow this guide:

If you already have cIOS installed right now and do it, you should be able to follow the online guide, otherwise you have to follow the offline guide at least up to step 10, then you can just switch and do the online guide from there.
