Hardware Wii SNES RetroPort

Hello i was wondering if the Wii SNES RetroPort will work with my snes games i burned for my wii on the emulator disc, i know it works for VC, but does anybody know if this will work with my own emulator & roms (i can use game cube controller with them), would be great if it did

Should work. The emulator runs in gamecube mode. And that retroport turns the snes controller into a controller that runs on the gamecubeport
