Gaming Wii Remote Disconnecting

Hi,

Some games require you to hold down a button for a long period of time. Recent Example: Super Mario Bros

I like to Hold down the "1" all the time so Mario is constantly running. When I do this for the first 5 minutes of gameplay my Wii remote will dissconect from the Wii then I have to let go and I end up dying and have to press another button for it to reconnect. After about 5 minutes it ends up staying on. It is just really annoying, are there any fixes for this or is my controller f@cked.

You could try the wiimote + nunchuck controller scheme. See if the controller still disconnects you after 5 mins.

Also try some better batteries. 2000+ maH rechargeable batteries work great and worth the extra price.
