Hardware wii picture not right

bricked a wii a while ago,anyways managed to source another motherboard but the problem is the pic seems fooked,not blocky but all over the place,coulours goind a bit daft and pic sot of rolling,tv is ok on my xbox and on another wii,any ideas

You graphics chip could be damaged. Can you take a pic of it (the screen)?

are you connecting with component or composite cables?

Check the display settings in the Wii options. Play around with those, if you are unsure.

That looks like what happened when I plugged in composite cables into a component plugin.

Try another connection or TV.

That looks like what I did when I took out one of the component cable out. I think it was the red one. Try another TV or different cables.

If that doesn't work, potentially ruined the GPU somehow? But unlikely.

tryed component cable in one tv then tryed them in anothe but with the scart adaptor,also changed picture settings via the wii,guess is is broke,got it for nothing anyway
