Homebrew Wii N64 emulator help

Hi guys. I tried the not64 and wii64 emulator (both look same tbh) and the problem i have with them is that none of them detect my nunchuk. I dont know if i missed any setting somewhere. Even in the input settings it doesnt show anything. My nunchuk works perfect on other wii games.

Would your wiimote and/or nunchuk be third party brands? They often don't work very well in homebrew stuff.
Otherwise have you tried to unplug then replug in the Wii64 menu?

I don't really know if they're 3rd party because I bought this system 2nd hand
So if they're 3rd party is there anyway to make things work?

Do you have any other Wiimote or nunchuck to test?

Yes I have 2 controllers and 2 nunchucks
Both don't work
Controller are detected fine. 1contoller is an obvious knock off and 1 nunchuck has a very long cable so i assume that's the knock off
The other set looks pretty ok to me but then again 3rd party stuff can look original
