Guy. the M+ will NOT work. It will not do ANYTHING on ANY game NOT made for M+. That means, other than, at the time of posting, Grand Slam Tennis, Tiger Woods 10, and Virtua Tennis 09 you will NOT notice ANY difference when using M+.

Although i mean, i guess you can just keep asking. I was curious if anyone has tried the Wii Balance Board with Metroid. I dont want anyone to reply unless they have specifically tried, personally, and have a youtube video, of the balance board and Metroid.

Mhhh...

Some years ago, N64 developed the "expansion pack" and there was a little speed improvement over non-compatible games... so, I could expect some little improvement over wiimote motion. Who knows?

Been playing PGA Tour 10 all week with MotionPlus, and it definitely makes a huge difference over WiiSports golf. I just wanted to keep coming back to the game to plug in more holes (

). That said, I want to see the difference it makes in a game like Red Steel 2. Action-adventure games are generally my favorite cup of tea these days, and if it can be put to truly good use in that department, it will be great. In the end, though, Nintendo built up motion gameplay too much out of the starting game -- with all those crazy ads of people diving across a living room or motioning as if they were playing a drum kit -- for the MotionPlus to really impress people, I think. At this point it's more like, "hey, great, you're finally giving us what we were supposed to get three years ago. Zippy-friggin'-do da!"

The n64 xpac was increased memory iirc. It'd be like plugging another stick of ram into your computer. Versus what you're asking with the Wii is like plugging a dvd-burner into a computer just running DOS. It's not gonna do so much.

Hi.

Have you tried WiiSports Golf with WM+ connected?

I'm just curious ^^ !

Yes I tested it with WiiSports Golf. I tested it with Mario Kart. I tested it making a cup of tea. I tested throwing it off a train to see if it could read my speed.

And you know what?

Just like about 50 people have told you in this thread already - WM+ DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO GAMES THAT ARE NOT PROGRAMMED TO USE IT!

Just like Wii Speak doesn't kind of pick up your voice a little bit on games that don't support it.

Just like a keyboard plugged in to your Wii won't pickup the A, U and # keys on games that don't support it.

Ahhhhh deep breath....

LOL! ... you take it too serious XD ! ...

Anyway, nobody talked about that until my posts...

So, there isn't any minimal speed / motion improvement? I mean for example, when you throw a punch on "wii boxing" sometimes the wii doesn't recognize it, or sometimes when you throw a punch the character make a different movement.

DUDE these guys are playing you. I've been playing Wii Sports with my M+ attached all week (I couldn't afford the new games yet, only the accessories

!!) and now when you hit the ball in Wii Sports Tennis it's all about where you're aiming with the Wiimote, it's no longer about the timing (although timing still plays a factor). It was sweet, I was killing all my friends at it last night (over some beers!! HA HA!!). Wii Sports Golf didn't get that much improvement, don't ask me why, but Wii Sports Boxing is SO REALISTIC. It is getting the depth of my punches, it's like I'm really boxing!! The Baseball game it was just more attune to my swings... I'll take a video and post it on YouTube, hold on!

I can't believe you were falling for this joke these suckers pulled on you

I thought it was pretty obvious they were being sarcastic. I'm taking a video now, I'll post it up soon!!

MANY THANKS EVAN FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE REVIEW

It's sad that some users judge something that never tried before

You guys are debating backward compatibility? Why? Nintendo made it clear it wouldn't improve games not explicitly programmed for MotionPlus. I ain't even gonna bother to test it. I'm fairly confident that anyone claiming to notice a difference in motion detection when playing WiiSports with the MotionPlus is delusional. The software doesn't know to receive signals from the accessory, and therefore it doesn't exist as far as the software is concerned.

You said it, but how about if upcoming Evan's video review (WM+ improves WiiSports motion) is true?

There isn't going to be one, because his post reeks of either idiocy or sarcasm.

Why are people so gullible? Please tell me no one actually believes this Evan guy. The only games that can detect WM+ are games that we're developed for it. That leaves about three games.

Agree with that... but how about if this new wii hardware improves the actual wiimote motion?

As I said before, maybe this WM+ could fix some of the weird motion caused by actual wiimote (no moves detection, wrong moves detection) and other similar issues.

Christ people. The little guy that keeps asking is just trolling. The evan guy responded trying to bust his balls. Now everyone is throwing in their 2 cents.

So to sum it up

Guy A knows it doesnt work, he's fucking around. Guy B was bull shitting under the assumption guy A really wanted to know. You, guy C, need to just ignore it.

The end.

Hi Ossot.

I'm newbie about WM+ development and I just asked for some review based on some user experience.

But I want to make it clear:

Does WM+ fix the typical wiimote issues like no moves detection (when you REALLY made one) and wrong moves detection? That's all I want to know.

See ya (don't get bad).

WiiSports Tennis with WiiMotion+. The video quality went down when I uploaded it but if you look closely you can see the ball go down the line as I aim down the line and across court as I aim across court. Wiimotion+ works!

Thanks for the video reply, Evan.

So, this WM+ fixes the wiimote controller detection (better capture of motion) ?

PS: can you make another video with Wii Boxing?

No it does not... but if you close your eyes and REALLY wish for it, maybe it will happen, or you can change your nick to "trollxp" or "moronxp".
And do not waste your times reading thousands of posts already answering your "new" questions, and stay away from the search option!

Correct me if I'm wrong..

to my knowledge, Wii sports doesn't support WM+.

The WM+ is programed using a gyration unit inside of it so only games that are coded to read signals from the unit are compatible. Not to say it doesn't work though;
It works wonderfully in PGA2010

!

I can't wait to see how it feels in Red Steel 2. Too bad it was scrapped in The Conduit though; they could have added more melee weapons that they planned but it's a First Person SHOOTER anyway heh. I'm looking forward to the things this will bring.
