I can't see any topics similar to this, only issues people are having with specific games.

i'm about to fork out for a Wii Motion Plus adaptor for my Wii Remote, are there any issues with it and any of the backup loaders out there. i.e. if I can load games that use the Wii Motion Plus, will they make use of the Motion Plus dongle when I finally buy it?

Wii Motion Plus works fine with any loaders I have seen, but it will not work at all with the Nyko Wand remotes. (the generic wiimote)

Also the Nyko Wand remote will get you warnings when installing anything homebrew. You will see a message in the status saying cannot handle it or something. Very odd since everything installs fine.

You can send them to Nyko to be physically updated to take a Motion+. Contact their customer support, they'll give you a shipping label. Takes about a week I guess.

That's cool. Nyko actually makes nice products... it's too bad the Kama (wireless Nunchuk) is so hideous now since Nintendo sued them for infringement.

Also, back on topic: Nope, no problems with Motion+ and backup loaders (disc or usb) at all.

Nope. Two I bought from Tesco are exact same as yours. Butt ugly and almost half finished and rushed. That rubber thing came off right away too!

I like the idea behind MotionPlus, but I'm going to wait and see if there are more games coming out that support it. Nintendo have a history of overhyping a new attachment/controller/peripheral and then abandoning it right away.

Woooooooooooow, it obviously stopped by the ugly tree for last minute product revisions.

The nintendo one looks all nice and smooth and flush fitting but the other... damn its like they specifically redesigned for the idiot cover/condom.

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
