Hardware Wii lego rockband instruments not working

Hi, please bare with me, ive just come of a crap 12 hour shift and cannot tell my arse from my elbow.

I sorted my auntys wii out with usb loader and all works fine and she got the rockband instruments for chirstmas.
Now when she starts lego rockbandthe game is fine but the instruments wont work, Is the usb loader conflicting with the instruments? if so is there away around this?
I would go around and test it with my version of lego rockband but its too far to travel and i need bed...

As mentioned in numerous posts, you will have to install Hermes cIOS 222/223 and use a loader that allows you choose that IOS upon launch.
