If I was you I would just get a decent "Linksys/NetGear/D-Link" wireless router or use the wired adapter that way you would have something permanent.

The last thing I would do is buy a no name USB wi-fi adapter because of possible driver issues, overheating & signal loss.

Could you tell me why you would want to go wireless & not just get a decent wireless router?
If the reason is money you could do a search for a decent router on... http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/ph

Also, If you want to save money & any of your computers have a wireless card you could use something like Connectify that way you wouldn't have to buy anything.

I use Connectify on vacation mainly, at restaurants, at bookstores, at airports, at resorts, on airplanes, on cruise ships & more.
It seems to work well however I don't consider it a permanent solution.

Not that I know of...
If you can get it working it wii work for almost any device.

If you don't know how to connect your Wii this will help you.

You showed a link from cdrking.com about the USB wi-fi adapter, can you order from them?
If So, Maybe you should look into this... http://www.cdrking.com/index.php?mod=products&type=view&sid=7629&main=50

I'm thinking about either buying the Nyko one or the genuine official Nintendo ethernet adapter. Trying to find the best one speed/reliability-wise so I can run my Homebrew Apps from an SMB NAS + copying files to/from using Wiixplorer.

http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Net-Connect-Wii-Nintendo/dp/B000X2DP8O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1332258570&sr=8-2

Does anyone have an opinion on that specific brand and/or the official one?
