Hacking Wii Homebrew Channel - Gecko Region Free

I just saw the new video about the upcoming homebrew channel and saw the Gecko Region Free option. So it's possible to load ntsc games on a pal wii with it and without the freeloader?

Yes technically. Though it's still not as good as the Datel's Freeloader.

I have better results with the GeckoFreeLoader.

The next version will include a channel version as well.

We´ll have to wait to see if the GeckoFreeLoader will work with the homebrew channel, but it won´t work with any homebrew launchers, so the seperate channel sounds good.

Till now I´ve just used the Twilight Hack.

i hope its releaced soon, i just ordered the NTSC version of smash bros brawl and i dont wana have boot up the twilight hack each time

Ok, i found the answer. It's working without a problem with the new version of the loader (online too)

For me it works much better on SSBB than the Datal FreeLoader. (I´m playing with the DL version)

For some reason, I had thought you guys across the pond were getting Brawl in April.

I come to find it's not until June 27th.

They really gimped the release dates...
