Hacking Wii help

Hi there.. I have a wii that someone else tried and botched.... The prob is when ever i downgrade to ios35, that goes through, but then when I load the wad manager and try to change the ios to 35..The system freezes...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

DONT INSTALL ANY IOS'!
LU65 Wii's have special hardware that can brick if you downgrade IOS'.

Basically install an up-to-date IOS35.

i did that and the same thing keeps happening :-(
