Wow, thanks for that list stormyuan!

I've tried Mercury Rev (PAL) on NTSC-J and it didn't seem to work. I still got the black screen. Maybe it's just me though. Running 3.2J with d2ckey.

USA games can 100% work with WGLPv2 on JP Wii, but PAL games not.
Using Wii-vmc together could do better(not sure).

For PAL games, you can try Wii Freeloader ......

Really thank

@ RetunerS - Wicked news man, so all we need now is a new version of Trucha that can open Trauma centre: New blood and a few others, and we're pretty much set!

@ Koolfur - zexec is just the name of the folder that you can find the 2 .dol's in.

@ indokid - Make sure you use the latest version of wglp which is now on the first page of this thread. It definitely works - I tried it earlier

Thanks man... Found it already....

I'm just about to use Trucha to patch a US version of SMG. The instructions state to extract mail.dol from PARTITION2. There isn't a partition 2 in the ISO layout I see. There's two partitions, one named 'PARTITION (RELSAB)' and another named 'PARTITION (RS4JJF)'.

Both of these partitions contains a main.dol file, so which should be extracted and patched - or is it both?

you have to extract the main.dol from PARTITION (RS4JJF),

RELSAB is the update partition, so never use that one unless you're specifically told to. Second partition is always the game partition, first partition is update partition.

Okay. I've read this thread over and over again.. I still get the "error decrypting data" error in trucha signer.. So, i searched around more and followed the tutorial of the trucha signer hex edit thing.. I got a key.bin file but im not sure if its the right one... tried some of the digits even though i dont understand it.. still wont work.. any ideas? tnx!

How do you know if its the right one? Im sorry.. Im really a complete noob on this.. Im using UltraEdit and the instruction says i should replace the common key.. found the one in .reg file included trucha signer, but dont understand and cant find it in the key.bin file... tnx!

ok, look at the link above for more infos about the keybin

1) unrar/zip/wathever trucha in a dir and put inside also the key.bin

2) open the keyset.reg extracted from the trucha archive with UltraEdit and replace the value in common key with the key.bin

find this section inside

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wii\KeySet\2]

"name"="Custom KeySet 1"
"boot1 key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"common key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"sd key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"sd iv"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"md5 blanker"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

** if key bin is AABBCCDDEEFFAABBCCDDEEFF11223344 the above will be **

"name"="Custom KeySet 1"
"boot1 key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"common key"=hex:AA,BB,CC,DD,EE,FF,AA,BB,CC,DD,EE,FF,11,22,33,44
"sd key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"sd iv"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
"md5 blanker"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

3) save the the keyset.reg and double click on it

4) open trucha and select "Select KeySet\Custom Keyset"

5) open the iso you want and it should be ok

Has anyone been able to get Dragonball z pal 2 to work yet. What would happen if you just switched tge pal main.dol file with a usa main.dol file and use this oatch in conjuction with the freeloader?
