Hacking Wii froze up when I just started the backup loader using bootmii (boot

title was cut off at the end. the end word should be (boot2)

Am I screwed or what? is my wii bricked?
If I'm not screwed, what should I do?
If I am, what should I do?
I have a v4.0U version wii.



*note, I havent turned it off, I'm, still in the red shiny screen with " BootMii Recovery " at the bottom. it still is in the same frozen screen as before.

More than likey you're fine just reboot the Wii..

You were not installing nothing right?
You where just on the BootMii screen and tryed to start Backup Luncher from BootMii....Right..

It happens no real big deal.

If you where installing something like a new SystemMenu then you would have a problem

I just didnt want to half-az guess it and brick my wii, after all I'm no expert.

No problem,

Wiis some times act buggy from time to time after softmodding them, most of the time its nothing..
If you're upgrading or downgrading a SystemMenu NEVER turn the Wii off this will fully brick the Wii.

But just running a app like BackUp loader should not ever brick a Wii...Unless you do a bad Disc Update.
