Hacking wii freezes and wont turn off

after updating my wii from 3.2 (already hacked) to 4.1 using pimp my wii my wii freezes when skipping from channel to channel in the wii menu (using the +/- buttons)
it also shows the yellow light instead of red when turning it off
had an old preloader on wii before i did the update could this be the reason?
any help would be appreciated?

Yeah, mines doing the same thing. I'm also on 4.1 with banner bomb and on cIOSCORPv3.5. I also have some forwarders on my wii menu. Could that be it?

sounds like a semi banner brick off a channel with an audio loop longer than 22 sec or maybe its corrupted?

just remove the channel that comes after the disc channel with wad man or see if it can be removed in the wii settins, that might sort the problem out

You were right pepxl. It was my Snes9x GX forwarder(fairy vs chicken edition). I uninstalled it and replaced it with another one. Everything is working fine now. Thanks
