Hi all,

It's bought 3 days ago with 4.1E(SN start with LAH1192), and I hacked it followed the sticky guide.

If use backuploader(BKL_Gamma_002fix), the error is:
dvd read error 349

If use softchip(R102), the whole screen shows:
Exception (DSI) occurred!
GPR00 ........(lots of numbers like memory address)
STACK DUMP:
.....
CODE DUMP:
.....

If use NeoGamma(NeoGammaR8beta15):
DVD read error (1048)

It seems my wii doesn't read disk. I don't know what happened here. How do I find out if cIOS is installed correctly?
Or it related to some D3-2 issue?

Thanks!!!

Burn at rated speed if anything... but that's besides the point. If you have a new wii with a serial that high (ie, over Lah1162) You have a D3-2 drive.

These cannot read non-original discs at all. A mod chip (soldered in) may make this possible... but for now your options are USB loading, or to replace the DVD-ROM with something older.

Thanks SenorClean.
How can I find a older DVD-ROM? Break the current one and ask them to replace it?

Ok, I will borrow a usb memory stick and try it. If it works, I will buy one. USB memory stick and portable hard drive are both OK, right?

Thanks.

I have a similar problem. I have a Korean hacked wii with version 4.0 U. Some of the back up are loading without any problems (virtual tennis 2009, wii sports, need for speed carbon) but some other game (top spin 3, need for speed underground, mummy) are giving dvd read error 1048. However all the games run from a USB drive. Of course I cant read the games (top spin 3, need for speed underground, mummy) with the USB loader. Had to use another wii to put them on the USB drive.
