I've had my Wii for about 9 years now, and in the last year or so I decided to homebrew it, everything went fine and I was playing games off of a USB drive, until I needed the SD card for other reasons, and wiped it. It's been about 3-4 months since that happened, and I wanted to get the Wii up and running again, so I put USBLoaderGX on the memory card again after quick formatting it, making sure it was in the apps folder, and upon selecting the Internal SD option from the button 1 menu it gave me the error seen below. Repeating the steps gives the same results. Afterwards I checked through the Wii's main menu, and it said " The device inserted in the SD card slot cannot be used." This has completely baffled me, as it works completely fine through both my USB to SD adapter and my SD card slot in my old laptop, and it was working fine just 3 months or so before this, when this SD card has lasted for approximately the length of the Wii, if not longer. Also reformatted it without quick format., through both my old laptop and my USB SD card reader.

Exception (DSI) occurred!

Did you ever figure out a solution yet?

when using sd card for other things did you by chance format to ntsc or something different? try to format to fat32 and try again..
No i formatted it on fat32 and it was working like 3 weeks ago very well but it then gave me the exception dsi occurred error and now it’s like my Wii knows there’s a card in the Wii but they can’t read it.I tried 3 different sdhc cards aswell but it led to the same result.

Got a question, when you get the DSI error, is it the exact same code as the one on mine? Please lemme know. I've basically given up homebrewing my console, as I do not want to reset the console. I'll probably get a new wii lol
