Hacking Wii backup Manager for Windows

I noticed some of my games have the update partition intact (I didn't have it set right in options), if I want to convert those games into just having the game partition what is the easiest way? thanks

Just to clarify, games with a “U” in the partition column have “Update” code that could alter your IOS or make other changes to your system which could affect your softmod. Therefore, setting the option in WBM to “remove update partition” removes the update code during transfer.

That's correct. There's really no danger caused by having an update partition when using USB loaders, but it saves some space if you remove it.

As I was using WBM 0.4.5 build 76, I forgot it was already running and tried to start a new instance, but it stalled during 'loading database'.
So, just one little feature request, if I may:
WBM as a Single Instance Application (using a local mutex, for example)...

I have another question is I may:
Your later versions of WBM now have a Column for Controllers and Synopsis. What do you need to do to see information in these areas?

On the Database tab, go to Tools->Update from GameTDB. Once that's finished, the info should be shown for the games.

I'll add that, it makes a lot of sense. Especially if you change settings, update the database etc.

Have you never thinked about to add support for XBOX360 games? with new hack Reset glitch hack (RGH) lot of people going to use HD for games and existing tool for manage the games on hd are very bad

To make this possible with the templates, I've added a couple of new optional sections and an optional config option..

The "Entry step" is used in a loop to output a number of entries within the header and footer. eg. Here it would output the header, then 3 entries, then the footer which would create a table with 3 rows.

I was going to reply to your email, but I might as well post here..

One or two people have had problems with that. Maybe the ad loads quicker for some people and distracts them from the top banner. There's a 5 second countdown at the top right and then you can click "skip" to go to the download.

I decided to use the ads to generate a little cash. I get paid for 5 seconds of your time before the download. It's a very small amount, but there's a lot of downloads so those small amounts mount up over time.

I think I'll do a little work on the site to make this better. I could maybe use a cookie to tell if you've already clicked on an ad link and if you have problems, when you try again, it'll use a direct link instead.

I'll be replacing WUpload with other mirrors soon too because some people don't like it.

It's very easy to find it from other sources too, like filetrip, 4shared and countless forums that show up on a quick google search,.

Hi fig2k4,

first, thanks for your work! I have a little problem with your Wii Backup Manager.
I dumped WiiSports v1.00 and v1.01. But Wii Backup Manager shows only one WiiSports!
Both games have the same ID: RSPP01.
But in the ISO-Header have the ISOs different Offsets (h) at 07.
00 for v1.00, 01 for v1.01, 02 for v1.02 and ...
It is possible to add a version check, to view all versions of a game?

In the settings, enable "Allow duplicates in the file list". That'll let you load both files.

It's not possible to copy both to a WBFS drive though because the discs are indexed by their ID.

i cab say a nice update ... very useful ... did you get dual layer to work?
and the database look nice ... now is this for collections , if so how we add our games to list?
