It will only read Wii Chess, Zelda TP, and Super Mario Galaxy. You will have to use Verbatim Blu-Ray discs to burn, but it'll have to be burned in an HD DVD burner, not a blu ray...

You'll have to spin around 2ce, pray to Zombie Jesus, and hop on one foot, then close your eyes to select the right button on the screen to get the apploader to work.

1. Not all Wii games will be compatible
2. Dual-Layer games won't be compatible (?)
3. Slow read speed, 3x (?)
4. Patch all Wii games by some long process?
5. Can't play 'standard' Wii games?

I've got a modded wii already but if this happens to be an actual piece of useful software, it'll be great news for everyone. Most of all for those who intend to backup their own games, because those are the ones less likely to mod their wiis.

This thread is getting too much noise.

Anyway, it looks to me Waninkoko took the easy way out by having to patch ISO's in an easy to read format.
For a proof of concept, it's definitely a good way to start.

Before people start distributing these patched ISO's and whatnot, it should be noted that this patching will not be necessary when a more sophisticated ISO loader is released.

And I think the ultimate goal is still loading backups from SDHC or USB (with hi-speed); This will make the dual-layer issue go away on itself, and faster loading times...
